Root [ROM] unSENSEable V2.1 |3D|Fast|Lite|Great Battery| Now Overclocking|Buttered Toast| 04/11/13 |

I'll try & make this my last concern because I feel like I've been stressful these past few days lol. I would like to have the vertical, horizontal, cyan (or whatever the color of the rest of the status bar is) battery icon, like Jellybean.
 
Please help. I'm new to flashing, but I believe everything is being done right.

Virgin Mobile, evo v 4g, using 4ext recovery with smart flash enabled.

I downloaded the file,

formatted everything but the sdcard,

but when I go to install it from the .zip, 4ext aborts the operation and says the file is "bad".

/??? This is the 5th ROM I've downloaded, and the only one I can get to actually load has broken wi-fi coding. I've considered it was a recovery issue (3 of the 5 were PACMAN roms, which never mentioned 4ext recovery in the install instructions)

edit: one thing I can think of is the file is supposed to be 317mb, is that UNZIPPED? b/c the file I have is zipped. Will try extracting the file to the sdcard first, and see if I can install it like that.

edit 2---> winrar won't let me extract the file, says the archive is damaged or in an unknown format. :/ guess...I'll try downloading it again?

Im not sure.. That seems strange. I would re Flash your recovery. And try again. Go with a older version of 4EXT

Let me know how it goes or if you need help
 
Download via Wifi, your sd card may be funky, but definitely refresh your recovery and reformat all partitions but sd. I use latest 4ext beta build no issues
 
I am unable to download this ROM. Link is either bad or missing file. I would really love to try this ROM out. One thing, I haven't looked through all 20 pages, but this ROM works for the Virgin Mobile version of this phone correct?

I use 4EXT Recovery. It's been happening regardless of what I have installed, it was even doing it from day one. When I check what's using the battery even just a couple hours into work when it's under 50%, it's almost constantly 50-55% Screen, 10-15% Cell Standby/Phone Idle/Wifi (if I forget to turn it off) and then a couple percent for other stuff to round it out. I really don't know why the screen burns through that much when it's never really on other than for those little bits of texts I send/receive through the day. Like I said, I also turned the brightness down all the way and have the shortest screen off time I can use. I never really had battery problems with my Optimus V, and that phone was a POS which is why I upgraded to this one. I'm willing to entertain the idea that both batteries I have are crappy, or that the hardware of this particular phone I have just sucks.
 
nstagram Video only supports 4.1+ And I've came to the conclusion that no 4.1+ roms on our device support 3D am I right? I'm not planning on leaving this rom I just want to know if there's a way to trick Instagram into thinking I have a 4.1+ Device. I was thinking Market Helper would work but it didn't ): unless I did it wrong lol

You can't trick Google into thinking you have a higher version of Android that would require modifying the Android Runtime and it still doubt it would work after that
 
it's not letting me download, just redirecting me to an add. And my phone died like an hour ago & now I'm stuck on the boot animation ):
 
When I type something that has a red underline I click add to dictionary and it is fixed for that case. Its not added to the dictionary. When I go into settings &manually add it, I still get the red underline. I don't get web suggestions. Does Mobster Remix run 4.0.4?
 
Tried the new mirage kernel today.(MiRaGe - for HTC stock ICS ROM - 3.0.85 - 07032013).
I don't recommend it. I flashed it over the stock unSenseable 2.1.
Battery life was pitiful. I even lowered cpus to 1188 Mhz and reduced voltage. Result, battery was at 14% at 4pm. The day before on stock unSenseable with similar usage I was at 75% at 5pm. I made no changes to my settings, but it keeps starting up Maps app and who know what else. The phone would turn on by itself in my pocket.
Going back to stock unSenseble 2.1

Comparable to even H3, just a awesome rom we have here.

One question, where do I go to mess with the 4g settings? When I hit the button (on quick settings) it says "unable to start activity"

Also another question xD, do the wii remotes work on this rom? (not that it matters, just wanted to know)
