Root [ROM][UPDATE: 04/05/2012][bROM v1.2]

i figured it out thanks to marc. thanks man. i realized i flashed the thunder.prop after flashing the brom kernel. and i dont think they play nice together.
 
Hey does anyone know if I could use brom and that pull down notification mod from the other thread together. It should keep me happy till 1.1 drops.
 
Sigh, I guess I should suck it up and learn how to theme. Ziiiiiiiigy, where are you I need to bother you AGAIN.
 
I returned to the Stock Triumph ROM and after i wiped everything and restored my nandroid backup, there is still the bROM V.1 logo instead of the stock one.I want to ask if you would tell me how to return that to normal and if there is anything else bROM changed that i'd have to change to get the phone back to 100% stock.Thanks in advance.

Edit:I solved my own problem.I use ES File Explorer so i went into /system/hidden/data/PowerOnAnimation and renamed the bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.old and now i have stock boot logo and android image come on at boot.At least that worked for me.....

you also could've flashed brandon's bone stock rom and it would've fixed your issue

mostly the big three i use have that problem cm7 miui and b_rom
 
I was wondering..... im still learning lot about android and these forums have been a huge help. My question is in cm7 2.3 android there is the stock android mobile ap. Is this option in 2.2 or not? is there a way to port it into 2.2? im mean I dont mind using barnacle (plus the annoying "netsh interface ipv4 set subinterface "Wireless Network Connection" mtu=1472 store=persistent" command) but not everything supports adhoc. plus mobile ap seems to work better for me.

My old phone was a captivate I LOVE that phone but there dont seem to be cheap options for unlimited data available to it at 3g speeds (simple mobile but it only gets edge on Tmobile's network). Anyway I love mobile ap on serendipity7 for my captivate.

I use the hdmi alot watching movies I have saved on my phones sd so im stuck using 2.2 roms.... I love the triumph and would like it as much as or more than the Captivate if i could get mobile ap and also hdmi..... any suggestions and advice please :)

Let the man do his work lol meanwhile you can try some of the other 2.2 roms.... b_randon's work is in 3 of the others :D
 
Brom is coming, slowly bit surely.... :D (b_randon has important things that he has to put before this)

Also, I know for sure it will be worth the wait. :p
 
Congratulations Brandon you done areally good job here will let you knowof any kinks going too drive this for awhile maybe a long time, you've done yourself proud
 
Yeah bROM v1.0 is garbage! I released it before I ironed it out, but I promise I'm still working on the new one! I just have very little android time lol!

And for now I recommended using one of the other 2.2 Roms like froyocream or red remix! They are both fast and sexy! Lol and use my kernel!

But when bROM 1.1 makes it, it will be awesome I promise!

yeah and when this rom update is out for everyone, me and mobsters roms are gonna be 6ft under :p

ive been waiting for this update as well... *hint hint* :D

I apologize for the long delay between releases! But alas... here is bROM v1.1!!!

I removed alot of uneeded stuff and got rid of every bug I believe. As always, if there are bugs or general issues you run into, please post them here!

Please be sure to read all the beginning posts so you understand how to install for best results!

Yeah I believe I got it tuned pretty hood. I have a ton of apps installed on mine, using the themed LP(with LP plus) and I use the music mod v1.8. It still flies and doesn't seemed to get bogged down much!!

Hey guys I got a problem I flashed this rom and every time I try to download something from the market when It goes to install my phone reboots what should I do abouth this any help would be appreciated thanks guys
