Hi,

with 006a ROM version you have to update the ROM first
then install the google apps
then install the live wallpaper.

BUT

there are many reports now that the battery management is not implemented properly 50% battery drain in 5 hours of use :(

Any news about the battery life on your phone with the J006a ROM?

i am waiting for a better version of his ROM

n one more query pls..
when i tried to update busy box (1.17...)as it was necessary for 2.3.3, my mobile struck at floyo logo.. it doesnt even boot to xrecovery..:confused:
i had to go for SE update, root n den install 2.3.3

what actually i did was downloaded busybox from market.. launched it then installed the update... this bricked my phone..:(
pls help with this issue...

So sorry to hear that your phone was "bricked" by the new busybox

You are in a similar situation with Blitzkri3g see his post... and follow the thread.

Lesson to learn here is once you have setup a specific rom (floyo or gingerbread) DO NOT update your busybox

I installed widgets... they doesn't show on homescreen when long pressed n selected widgets..
running 2.3.3.
tried rebooting..
tried installing with root explorer 2.14...
pls help

Hi,

Might be a old version widget that is not supported by 2.3.3.
or
Your widget has been installed on your SD Card. For some reason (I don't know why???) widgets will not work if you installed/move them to SD Card. So the solution might me to install and move the app to phone <settings><Manage applications><select app><Move to phone> - now <tap-hold> homescreen <select><widgets> is your widget on the list? :)

Some widgets I have downloaded from Market did not work so I just move on to the others. I am really not a widgets user.

Hi gabeyong, I have a question...
How come that after i installed 2.3.3 custom ROM, when i try to open a flash video in my browser I get message that imust have adobe flash player 9 or higher to play that file?
Isn't flash player included in the rom?
And how can i install it if it isn't?

Is there anyway to turn the led light off, for example when my alarm is on my led light remains on when screen is off? Im using the latest rom version

The biggest for me is the stability, working wifi, bt, battery undervoltage and so on ;) I am really satisfied with this rom ;)

You are asking silly questions ! :D xRecovery is a must have ! :) so is busybox ;) it is pre-rooted, but it still has the bug, which makes your device to restart after closing root apps :/
