Root [ROM][WIP]CM10.0.0.l0-BobZ

Well I'm not sure if anyone has reported this, but airplane mode is not working correctly. I am able to receive call and text messages while in airplane mode. I am not able to make an outgoing call or text message however, because the phone believes its in airplane mode.

This means that the cellular radios are not getting shut off in airplane mode.

This could be a real issue, because say someone goes on an airplane with this ROM, and has their phone on airplane mode, then they get a text message, then the plane crashes! That would be bad :3


Could this be an RIL issue?

Chinese characters???? must be on bobs build because I edited the ko crap to en in mine. lol

This is crazy I don't have any problems at all.
 
Are you people seriously acting douchey and sarcastic about a thread with over 1000 posts in it because someone missed something?

It's that type of elitist nonsense that keeps people who have actual questions, that could actually inform others, and help people, from asking them.

Of course that would be the opinion coming from you, who is on the other side of this, well, what we did is that we HAD to learn to not annoy people and waste their time when the answer is already out there okay? I had to learn to look for things myself and then eventually I could begin helping others, and it's annoying when someone asks or says something that was said literally a page ago, had they not been lazy and rude, they would know this. Of course you might not understand, you have to be here for a while and then you get the frustration that comes with answering the same questions over and over and over again, and that's just coming from a regular member, imagine the feeling the Senior members and others get from all of this and the daily torture of people's lack of self Independence and it makes it worse that the fact that we have a SEARCH button that could answer all of these questions, (and we mention it quite a bit ;) )
It's just unbelievable that people continue doing it.

and/or dozens of PMs on numerous sites lol. But thats also why I keep my wiki up to date some what, so there is a central place to be checked. ;)
 
Last I checked, this was a discussion forum, a vast majority of the people that come here do not understand thing #1 about the platform. This is not a developers site, nor a development sub forum. Perhaps assuming that everyone here understands 2% of all this confusing shit is an over assumption. If my question was "spam", then the posts that said nothing more than "lol" and things like it were also spam.

I'm trying to learn, as many others are here, and getting sarcastic people is a hindrance to the process.

Another side note: I use Tapatalk 100% of the time I use this forum. Links to things like wiki pages and anything else informative that may be in people's signatures is omitted by Tapatalk. Crucify me.
 
that's cool. you win. ask all the repetitive noob questions you want. don't use the search button or read the thread and by no means should you use google.
 
Im with johnny on this. If you want to give feed back then go ahead and state your problem. But if you're trying to find if there's a fix then...

1) ask yourself "what's my problem?"
2) search it
3) not there? Try harder.
4) you're absolutely sure it hasn't been posted?
5) if yes, then post it.

However, when you guys critiqued the guy for not knowing it was the 5/21 build not 5/12 it was a bit douchey. He simply said that he's using the 5/12 build which is what the OP states. So mocking him for not knowing the actual build number was a bit harsh.
