cool. I flashed back to Icarus for now. I like CM6 but my sis has been sending all sorts of things to me and I was like WAAAIITT...lol. When I got Icarus back on here I was getting like 2 a minute.

I've been reading a few diff forums and pretty much all of em are saying thatMCN has to be 016. when we change that (originally it is 16) it saves then dissappears. I have even edited the xml file to 016. open apn via voice dialer, and put in phone number and it again dissappears. hmmm...oh well...just ramblin.

on the Metro settings, b4 the fix flash its 016 too but after its 027 n works.
Have you tired to change the settings b4 flashing the fix?

Yeah I flashed CM7, edited the apn, flashed CWM (green) and flashed the mms zip for CM7, but it went straight back to the main CWM screen...didn't even say anything about being installed or anything, all settings in apn are the same...but still no mms. just thought I would mess around a bit while waiting.

Oh if you flash the fix b4 booting cm7 once there will be no settings at all lol

Yes. I flashed CM7 and edited APN FIRST. THEN flashed old CWM and then mms fix for CM7. no go...all good though.

I just did the MMS flash. After though my lock screen got the roam indicator off. Any suggestions?

It is sweet that the MMS is finally working but any words on the "Roaming Indicator Off"? I can live with it but I'd like to get rid of it if I can. I only mention it because it can on after I did the MetroOff.

It looks like the old "No WiFi" sending rule is still in effect though. Tried sending with it on, and locked my phone completely. Happy though, very happy. Pip, Isacc, and all involved, THANKS!!

Question about CM6, sometimes my phone is stuck in landscape and sometimes in portrait. How can I fix this?

Go to CM performance settings and lock home in memory. Also having only 90 checked in the rotations stopped it for me.

the mms fix that is flashable is ONLY FOR METROPCS USERS.
IF YOUR A CRICKET USER AND YOU FLASHED THAT YOUR..... fill in blank.
edit, this was very general guys, im just trying to point everyone to the fact if you take 5-10 (15 for some) minutes and read the wiki entry, almost 99% of these questions are answered.

NO. I did not flash anything. what I did was steal the apn xml file from CM7 and replaced CM6 apn xml file with that one. was having comp problems with internet so I couldn't post it...but no I DID NOT flash anything but the rom...lol
but now there is an update anyway... so its all good.

so i just have to dl cm7, unzip and find apn.xml file, unzip my cm6, swap cm7 apn.xml for cm6 apn.xml, re-zip cm6 w/ updated file, then flash THAT to my phone?NO.
