Nope, your gonna want to throw the apk on your sd card with the romOh, 'nother question just popped into my head: does this include a copy of Titanium Backup? This would make it easier to copy over all my apps once I've flashed the ROM.

Put the titaniumbackup.apk on your sd card, flash rom, boot, launch the application "file explorer", navigate to sd locate titaniumbackup.apk and open it to install. You have to check install from third party source or whatever in the android settings to install.By "throw the apk" on the sd, do you mean just have the apk any where, or the root of the sd? I've tried before to reload a back up of tibu when it's not included in the rom and i couldn't get it to read and I just ended up reloading all my apps from scratch. What procedures would I use to accomplish this? When I've loaded a ROM that had it included (such as Aplus) it reads the back up that's already on the SD and I was able to reload my apps easily.
Can you and/or someone give me a link to the Mms patch, so I can see what makes it work.Mms patch and the rock kernel both worked for me
http://db.tt/6wxyYtV There's the patch. I tried sending you a mms before and after installing it, didn't work for me. I didn't have reppards kernel installed when I tried it, maybe it needs that...Can you and/or someone give me a link to the Mms patch, so I can see what makes it work.
Thanks for the help,
Bob
Another idea for a fix for mms quoted from another forum.
" I had the same problem on 2 different versions of CM on 2 separate phones. This fix worked both times. Use root explorer, and make sure it is set to R/W mode (read/write). Navigate to /data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/telephony.db and delete that file, then restart your phone. After the restart, you should be able to send and receive MMS messages."
Yes, Tablet tweaks are included in the ROM.Does this rom have the bottom status bar mod in the CM settings like the hauwei ascend build??? (Cyanogenmod settings>Tablet tweaks)
Does this work without flashing the Metro Mms patch?Another idea for a fix for mms quoted from another forum.

Does this work without flashing the Metro Mms patch?
Or do you need to flash the patch first, then these changes?
Thanks for the feedback,

someone direct me to where i can see how to partition my sd cuz i wanna try this rom
Hey. I've been using the Bobz Rom since last night. There are a few bugs. for starters, Depeneding on if you flashed the (new windows 7 looking market) zip directley after you flashed the rom on your phone with out a reboot. Youll experience this. One you start up the phone and you are going through the set up process. It will tell you to Slide the keyboard open while setting up your Gmail Account. Even if you skip the process, it will force close on the market. Either force close or a ERROR screen will appear and ask you to Retry or cancel. Thats error number one. lol Number Two is the one problem i faced the most. It was getting my screen to turn on. Well not so much turn on because it was on but get the lockscreen to appear. That was the tuff part. I made a youtube video review the rom. And towards the end you'll see that i faced the issue quite a few times..
Review on Bob Rom part 3 - YouTube
I found myself fustratingly shaking my phone until the lockscreen appeard, or moving the phone in diffrent directions until it appeard. Its 3 o clock. And im not suffering any real issues. but some. lol Another issue is that my signal bars fluctuate horribly... lol When i try to a phone call, What was once 3 bars will now be none and the phone call wont go through. That was another great issue i sufferd. lol Next one is wifi. I set up wifi a couple of times and my phone will not turn wifi on. AT ALL!! When i first flashed the phone with the Rom , The phone worked great accept the screen turning off and on. Before once reading about turning off screen animations in the cyangon mod settings. That slowed down the screen isssues. But most of the important issues are still going on. I respect the work you have done so far with the ROM. Its beautiful. I love it. lol And yes. I did read that the Rom was still under construction. I also did read that people would experience problems with the Rom. And that most of the problems would slow down after a while of using the phone. Or after a couple reboots. Once again. I love this Rom. Big ups!! to the maker. This is just problems i sufferd after reboots, and different times downloading the rom again and flashing it. I will continue to work on the phone and see what different issues i can dig up to help you guys out... Once again. I love this Rom!!!!!
