Also my spare parts tip I posted a few posts back helps. If all else fails just swipe across the screen with your finger and the lock screen will appear

(You can check by playing a movie or video in Hardware decode mode)

My guess on this would be it has to do with stagefright being disabled.

The spare parts tip did nothing for me. The best thing to do is a live wallpaper. It comes up instantly.
 
I enabled stagefright using Blade Buddy from the android market...and it did give me some hardware acceleration but did nothing for the screen lag.

Will that do the same thing as installing the stagefright.zip from recovery, cause I found a stagefright enabler somewhere in these forums.
 
Yes. Its just a shortcut around flashing the zip but it still requires a reboot to take effect. And if you need to turn it off its easily reversed through the app.
 
This ROM has been terribly glitchy for me. Its has been causing apps to freeze constantly, and apps left and right will force close. I knew I should have done a NAND backup of the Beta Rom. Oh well,
 
I had some problems in the beginning..none of the problems reported...then I flashed the superuser beta ..and the rock kernel....then the mms patch..besides a few force closes and apk installation problems..I'm really siked about this rom.....have been running this since last night also. Thanx bob and or blarf....lol. Much appreciated

same with me, my titanium restored apps always forced closed (for some reason the only app that worked was Death Worm lol), my wifi stopped working after rebooting once (I have a Buffalo router so I use the AOSS app, and even with that it won't connect to my network), no hardware acceleration even with stagefright enabled and basically all the other bugs everyone else has been facing xD. Regardless its a nice ROM, just gunna wait till something more stable comes on, just too bad cuz I really liked the theme would like it on the sense rom :P
 
Lets see some benchmarks on this rom. My phone isn't the benchmarking machine as it only clocks to 728, but I can say running games in an emulator is way better in this rom than the last I was using.
 
Not the best but using antutu benchmark and stagedright isn't enabled
