Root [ROM][WIP]CM7.2.0 RC1-BobZ

Sorry for double post. Just wanted you to know bob idk if it was just my phone but when I was running your rom when switching themes status bar blacked out. No clock or nothing.
 
Or if you have a2sd backup your SD ext first and after first boot of rom boot into recovery and restore your SD ext
 
1 problem I am having. Randomly everything will disappear off my homescreen except my wallpaper. And the touchscreen wont function other than allowing me to reboot.

Not really sure what to tell you, I didn't have a that problem. But yo could try to download the kernel again and flash again just in case you had a bad download. Or you can flash rock-any-rom kernel and see if the problem is the kernel
 
My favorite CM7 rom for OM. Thank you BobZ.


A few glitches though, one I get a unknown network under my phone status that might be the reason why the caller ID function does not work for me under this rom, another is the the video recorder not recording sounds, last but not least it seems this like the other cm7 roms I have tried are not very good when it come to RF and picking up a signal. My phone keeps going back and forth between 1x and evdo. blah...
 
I just tried flashing this and now I'm stuck at the LG boot screen. Anyone have any tips to jump out of this? Would an NVFlash work?

EDIT: Reflashing the ROM does nothing. still the same stall at the LG splash

camcorder sound fix: settings/cyanogenmod settings/sound/check "mute camera shutter"
 
I can't install anything D: I've been having this problem for quite a while. Every download in the market fails, if it starts to download the installation would fail too (this is all on the old market). On the new market i would get an error saying that i don't have enough space on my phone, yet I have 100mb+ of internal storage, and over 2gb of storage on my SDcard free. Same thing happens if i download an app off the web, and try to install it through RootExplorer- it just fails. I have no idea why this is happening.. any help? Thanks.

Btw I have tried clearing cache, dalvik, and reflashing gapps, but that doesn't seem to work.

You're probably referring to the insufficient space on memory issue which has a couple of solutions listed on this thread.

It is supported, but you have to set it up first. I personally use Link2SD to load my apps to the sd-ext partition. This also solves the Insufficient space on memory error that was just asked about.

Hey guys, Im pretty sure this problem has been talked about before...but i need help with my wifi. Every time i try to activate it it just says error, can someone please help me? :(
 
I have the "insufficient space on memory" error. I tried market fix and link2sd and it worked for a few downloads but eventually I would get the error again. I have 171mb of storage left on my phone and 736 mb on my sd card, so storage is clearly not the problem.
