Root [ROM][WIP]CM7.2.0RC0-BobZ

Sorry, I'm on the wrong thread post. I have a Optimus V. I should have posted on Optimus V. First, thank you for your work and this rom. Awesome, it is my rom of choice.

I'm using the 08/30/11 rom. I know you stated that:
"Headset mic fixed and Camera geo tagging fixed"

I'm hoping the other way around. Is there a way to enable the phone mic while the headphone is plugged in?

I use the phone in my car to listen to music via the headphone, when a call comes in, the voice goes through my car stereo but I can't use the mic on the phone. Is it possible to enable this as an option? I would really appreciate it. It's a real bummer for me.

Updated my ROM...Info on OP(first post)
I removed the MMS hack, it does not work right and/or not at all. I'm going to work on getting it to work correctly like every other ROM. Please test the MMS before flashing the hack.
A new lock screen widget: Rings. You can see it in action here

I forgot to mention another cool feature that was added is CIFS(Common Internet File System).
If you get a program like cifs manager https://market.android.com/details?id=ws.plattner.cifsmanager&feature=search_ result from the market, it will allow you to connect to your pc and/or media server via WiFi. You will be able to transfer file, stream music, and watch avi's that are on your computer. The only down fall for me is that MKV's are to big to stream over Wifi to the phone. The audio plays, but the video is to choppy.

Actually my mms works better than ever before. I could send quickly with only one bar. Love the rings. Any chance flash will ever get added back?

hmm, Everything has been working for me great with the last build.. The ONLY problem I have ever had any problems with is the GPS being to slow to keep up.. Other then that there hasn't been any problems :) But if you think this is a better build then i'll give it a try..
 
So on this new build The camera not working and no mms.. Tried flashing CricketMMSFIX it flashed but still don't work.. Had a few restarts and a few fc.. Loven the lock screen!

Thanks for confirming that the camera doesn't work.
MMS is a tricking thing...it works for some, but not others.

havent tried your new but your 091611 build was pretty good and the mms on there worked flawlessly i was sending pics with one bar in less than a sec. almost everything worked except the flash. I tried playgods 091911 build (another very good rom)for 2 days and was never able to get the mms to send pics even with the fix. I'll try your new one once cricket uncaps me:mad:
 
Is there a fix for the gps that anyone knows of? I have looked around and nothing I have found so far has worked..Will not find one satellite.. Have use wireless networks on and also use gps satellites as well..
 
i flashed your rom, but when i reboot it just loads a LG www.lgmobile.com black screen and doesnt do anything, do you think this is because i flashed the rom, and the gapps at the same time i think i messed it up
 
nvm i got it to work. i installed your rom and playfulgods and urs is way better because for one.... IT DOESNT HAVE ADWLAUNCHER. worst themes ever. second, it doesnt have all that stupid bloatware. urs is clean and crisp. but im having 2 problems like everyone else is. mms and camera :( was there a camera kernal fix? or something im missing?
 
i will test it out for a couple days.. ive been testing playfuls rom also working out kinks :) thanks bob for your support on this. much appreciated.
 
camera is still a no go, and gaaps is still fussy when installing new apps. also im using playfuls new recovery he updated it to 5.0.2.1

you guys are awsome to put this time and come with CM7 version for the LW-690 since the manufacturer realy dont care whether thier products are burned or not worked or whatever
please take this as a feedback or some notes to be used for the next release

will i used the first one the
09-30-11 it was all good but the widgets problem made me hate that release it was the only problem every time i restart the phone i have to reget the widget on the screen.
10-17-11 this one is awsome fast evry thing work but the camera is hopless case something wrong prevent the camera app from starting.

thats been said as a feed back i have a very important question: about the langugues that the Phone OS could read and recognize ... for me i got arabic and English ... the only problem is if sombody sent me arabic text the default sms app display it as little squares and if I send Arabic SMS it will stuck and never go through " never show send"
so you guys already been developing CM beside that you guys will know more about this> does the network recognize only a set of charecter to be transmited through thier server and arabic are not recognized by the network ?? i do believe that have none to do with arabic urdo spanish or even russian becasue transmission will end in 01010101 , bottom line can i read arabic sms on the phone with CM or just forget about it and get something from Middle east instead>>>>
