Yeah, he flashed with a badly repackaged tar. But the one previously provided still works fine, in theory. Apparently, someone was doing some testing in IRC and repackaged the file wrongly after modifying a few things, IIRC...

Supposedly, it was my fault. Not too sure how it got fu cked over, though...
 
I have an indulge that works just fine but has a broken screen (still works 100% just cracked) that I would be able to sell real cheap if anyone working on this was interested in it :) sell since I have to pay shipping ect. I am very interested in this so hit me up if you are interested in the phone :)
 
so...i'm going to go with the Esteem...i'm going to be getting student loans in this weekend and i want the Gorilla Glass phone with the bigger screen...plus snapdragon has my heart as well....

anyways, PG, want my Indulge to mess around with?
(i'm also going to donate you some monies for the cm9 on esteem work)

There's not too much support actually going on to tell you the truth. Personally I would go with the esteem... unless someones giving you the indulge for free. The prices aren't too much of a difference but the quality is much better. Plus more roms...real roms. Not just one modded stock rom.

atm they are just modded stock ones for the esteem, plus oc'd kernels. I do have CM7/9 in development but no releases yet. Actually it will prolly be awhile b4 there is a CM9 release other than alphas that boot n do lil else.
 
Well...unfortunately i will not be relived of my Indulge for a couple more months (i would rather not have to face the wrath of my girlfriend because of getting a new phone for myself before v-day)...but my donation will be coming sometime today
 
so.. is the indulge still about dead? jus got my buddy's phone rooted w basix(rom,theme,kernel).. im just curious because i normally dont follow this phone (i have an admire,CM7 and new kernel).. is there much more i can do for em to speed the machine up, or are we still waiting on a cm version for this?

Hey PG, I know that this is a bit of a Necro, but, provided that I get a new phone over the holidays, I can donate my r910 for the cause.. currently on konanes rom, but can always restock it if you want it that way.
