Root [ROM][WIP] CyanogenMod 6/7 for the Samsung Galaxy Indulge

Im not a "dev" but more of a tinkerer. I can help with compiling and help with some coding if needed. I also have a rooted 910 i can test on. I would love to see gingerbread come to the indulge officially or unofficially and the CM7 rom looks like it will prolly be more beneficial to the indulge community than the Basix and the Exodus (which i do not like (sry Silvst)).
 
me also...i cover that donation, cant wait for it, i have a hawuei also that has cm7 installed, and is a simple phone ,the 835 ascend...and sometimes i like to hold it more then the indulge just to play around with the settings, but no comparition with the 2 devices....and once the cm7 hits the indulge will be very very nice....i felt alitle heavy on the 835 but i guess its supossed to be for that kind of device...n-ways...once u get it done i will sure cover that donation, basix 2 also wold be nice right now ;)

we are all anxious about it...and its preatty cool,i have on a very inferior device and i dont use for calls, i just have it before i got the induge but since we dont have de cm7 i activate and installed on the ascend 835 , so i been runing both, and the ascendo was cheap and came with android 2.3...witch pissed me off cause we are stuck on 2.2.1 with the indulge the cost 3 times the price...but its all good ,i been using basix and i like it alot, im using that v6 supercharger script that is preaty cool to run on basix , helps on memory and battery once u config everything correct...but cm7 is yummy yummy, but im hoping koane release basix 2 soon ;) cause i know cm7 still gonna take a while to come out fully working without bugs, or at least not so many at the first release....but let me tell you guys, is it just me or once u get in to this rooting and flashing rooms u kind get adicted and kind of forget about other things....lol...i been hooked, insonia is my best friend lately....LOL

You know what, someone should make a philosophical dissertation on this, using phone hacking/rooting as a proof of human longing for freedom, and the subsequent enjoyment of said freedom! Alright, class. Essay due tomorrow, 1500 words! Lol! Man, do I miss high school.

That is PG's wiki page and there is nothing to download.
Either it needs to say
What's Working or below it it needs to say "Everything."

I know we are now up to about $80 for a bounty, but I have not heard a peep from
PG either here or on the IRC...

Someone go poke him with a stick and see if he is still alive... :)

yeah i know...i was just bringing it to the attention of the masses so as to lessen any confusion :P

and so that if anyone else asks what the progress is...well...they can go there :)
 
I loved CM7 on my old huawei ascend.. something I'd really like to see is a very customizable status bar and a good launcher! I'm very picky with appearance, docks and status bars!! :p anyway, i know cm7 will be great. good luck on it!!

Just throwin it out there, maybe it'll be a lil bit easier to work on the CM7 in the Electric Sheep kernel environment :confused: just thinking since I know Samsucks kernel needs more than a lil somethin to be able to give an above marginal performance, maybe it'll be a little better chance for a quicker release:D Not rushing or anything....Thanks for all the support, you developers are the backbone of why we have such nice phone/tablet options that don't have to start with a lower i**insert stupid product name picked by apple marketing geeks here**
 
How close are you oh playfull god. I am a willing gineau pi to try out what ever you need aslong as you dont inreversibly brick me
