Root [ROM][YACR] CM 7.1-Reppard

Was wondering, when I power off phone, it just reboots and comes back on. Anybody else experience this? No big deal, just wondering if there's another way to turn off phone? Also is it okay to use app "AnReboot" for powering off? TIA :)

no they dint talk about more androids coming in. but they did say they were bringing in more flip phones in. and they were mostly talkin about the new admire phone that just came in. but i also heard about this HTC phone coming in by november. or sum shit like that. oh AND they were also talking about the new amazon market thing. that supposedly yu could get a FREE PAID app a day?!!!~!! or sumthing like that! is this true??? lol

and they didnt say nada about the 3g network.
 
Oh BTW I did not get a new stable clock speed with smartass... So close... On second thought it reboots less than my girls stock... *shrugs* Guess its stable to metro standards...
 
How come I sometimes Get an error saying I don't have enough space on my phone, when downloading from market, I have over 170 internal and 200 on my sd
 
I have a2sd? Don't know what it is, never bothered to try, I heard you have to delete your comme your contents on your sd and I can't because I have only one sd and no computer

Hmm...
That might be the problem. I don't know if this rom will play well without having your sd card partitioned...

I guess for a no pc workaround all you can do is install dropbox, make an acct, upload contents of sd to dropbox, then you can partition the card and boot back up and open drop box and download your data back. This will only work for 2 gigs...

Well a partition makes a storage device look like 2 smaller storage devices to the computer/phone its plugged into. On a pc you can partition a 100gig drive to what appears to be 2 50gig drives to the pc. That way you can totally wipe one and the other retains it's data.

With the phone the idea is to put a partition on and store only apps to that, and that partition is linked to the memory in the phone so the phone is fooled into thinking the room on the new partiton on the sd is actually memory inside the phone.

You won't have to reflash the rom, you might want to clear cache and dalvik tho. As for dropbox, depends on your internet connection on wifi with broadband 20-60 mins depending on speed. On 1xrtt.... all night long, LOL. I wouldn't risk it on 1x if your gonna have access to a pc any time soon.
 
Dropbox only allows me too upload files. Not folders .. :( and can someone be kind enough to post a link for a tutorial. On how to partition SD for optimistic m? I know I ask alot. I apologize ...
