It's great now. I had actually booted it 3 times before I posted. But of course as soon as I post the next time I boot, it boots right up. Just making me look like a liar ;P Everything is awesome, as always Reppard you are the man.
 
So I had the previous build with DT's A2SD flashed. My internal memory showed 140 MB free. I wiped cache and davlik. Flashed the new build and now notice I have only 87 MB free. I have A2SDGUI installed and everything looked right there. Am I missing something. Do I have to reflash the scripts?

In the process of reflashing via tripdoc's method in his thread will update.

Ok I completely re did the entire rom flashing process..I sit and wait after the 1st lg logo..My phone is definitly booted..because i can change the volume..but nothing on the screen
 
My apologies for not reading through the thread first as I would normally I'm short on time @ the moment, anyway I could speed up the screen orientation it is annoyingly slow

This is probably a hardware issue brought on by the new drivers. I'm gonna revert these in the next update. I think someone had an issue with these drivers on bobs rom.

Yup, I tried flashing this also, I know my phones booted but its just a blank screen, love to test this when I can see it :p
 
the first LG boot image is removed so there's a black screen first then second LG screen then the cm7 boot animation first boots a little long just give it a minute or two should work, running great on my phone. thanks reppard.
 
Reppard this is by far the best gb rom for this phone yet. It works flawless. Thanks so much for your time and effort !
 
Just flashed the update and am having no problems! I also threw this rom on my brothers and my friends phones and they're lovin it as well. Thank you Reppard for this awesome rom! =D
 
Flashed update love the on off animations great job rep! One issue I had though was I had to flash dt myself to get a2sd but other them that this ROM is perfect!
 
I can't get it to boot at all. I even did a clean install and no luck. Any suggestions?
I wipped everything except the sd card and it just sits at a black screen. I let it sit for over 10 minutes each time and I tried it 3 times.

I get the white lg logo, Then blank screen. My phones booted because i can change volume and hear it.
All you that say it is working must have 2.2.1 phones

Yeah I do have a 2.2 phone. Well hopefully Repard will change the drivers back so that it will work for the rest of us. Looking forward to being able to update to this newer release with the on/off screen animations.
 
I flashed this once after wiping both caches, worked fine, had issues with stuff not downloading from the market so I tried wiping dalvik and it froze at the black screen. In logcat it has all sorts of dalvik errors(unable to create javaVM and cant open dex cache).
 
Yea but if he puts the drivers back the animations wont work. Its wierd the screen off animation works fine..the screen wont come back on.
