Yea i already have that turned on but instead i put my program data into my sd card and now it's super fast and responsive than before. my phone has 197mb of free memory which is like 98% free according to quick settings

ok, so this the 1st cm7 that mms work without flazhing a fix(at least for me)
anyhow, what can i do tp get the compass to calibrate? did da figure8 thing, n wiped maps' cache, but gps still locates md about 2-3 states away
eventjually it corrects, but no amount of tinkering gets the compass to spin in a complete circle or show true north.
any ideaz?

^^^^^For anyone else having this issue, I asked the same question in BobZ' rom thread and got this response from bob and it worked
:DELETE two .ogg files from system/media/audio/Ui "camera_click.ogg" & "VideoRecord.ogg"....
I can verify this works for the optimus M I actually moved the files to the root of the sd card, tested video playback and it was successful.... (i didn't delete them yet)

He's referring to "datasd" which is an option usable through a2sd beta 4a. It allows the actual application data to be ran from the SD card. However its important to know that even though it frees up ALOT of space, your SD card no matter what class cannot outperform your device so remember that if you like playing games
Note: Use of datasd means NO unmounting the SD...once this option is enabled only USB mass storage can be used while the device is on. If you remove the SD while the power is on there's a chance of broken system apps. Also keep an eye on which system apps create data so you will know what to expect should you ever brick your sdcard somehow.

that's correct but it seems to give me really good quadrant scores (even though taken by a grain of salt) it seems to make my phone more responsive and i don't like playing games much but if in any case i'm going to sell the phone or something i'll just revert all the things in my sd to the phone and everything will be functional. Thanks for the advice though Tweeks :]

By far the best ROM for LG MS690, at least for me. I have tried all the others and they've turned up glitchy or always had some issue that required additional modification. This ROM works right out the box for me.
Solid, stable, no random screen jumps or app freezing. I think this LG phone was built for this ROM and no other and not the other way around. Thank you much, reppard. Where can I donate?

Great ROM! I have an issue where the accelerometer (I think I'm referring to the correct sensor) doesn't turn off after an app that uses it is closed. This leads to the app starting to show a large percentage of battery usage even if it's not running and if I check Spare Parts it will show that app under sensor usage(full bar).

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue, if not I might just try reflashing the ROM. I haven't read any other reports of this and think it might just be me. Thought I would bring it up in case it's fixable.
Additional info: LG Optimus M came with 2.2.1, upgrade to 2.2.2, rooted with gingerbreak, flashed this ROM.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that since stopping the app does not turn off the sensor, I have to reboot the phone to turn off the accelerometer, this will always fix it.

Anyone else having issue with no audio in recorded video?
Awesome ROM. Switched to this from your original CM7 ROM. Loving every bit of it so far. Like this version of ADWLauncher. Also like that animations are off by default. GPS location seems to work much better. Also, love that you don't have to patch MMS fix. ROM didn't seem to have Google apps by default, but you provided them separately. Worked great upgrading from CM7 port. Keep up the great work reppard!

When I installed the ROM, all animations were disabled. I just enabled them all including on/off animations and they do indeed work. Also, it seems the "blank screen without live wallpaper" issue has been resolved.
One issue I am having is with the built in CPU governor causes my phone to reboot cycle if overclocked even in the slightest. Had to re ROM to fix. Using SetCPU to overclock fixed the problem and got my phone back to respectively fast lol.

I found a HUGE problem, when my phone is connected to 3G it will not receive calls, it will only make calls, I made sure I was on 3G only by typing in *#*#info#*#* on the phone app and selecting EvDo only. Also when I switched from 3G to 1x, messages came as soon as I switched and some came later that were sent earlier from my mom (I was baby-sitting). I'm going to be staying on 1x until the problems with 3G are worked out

try editing the build properties. copy build.prop to your SD card and using any text editor change the ro. ril. hsxpa= to 2 or 1. then reduce the gprs class to 10. Paste the new properties over the old and then reboot.
Edit: If the values already match it may be your service area. My 3g worked well when I was using this rom

Another thing to think about, when I first got the 3G I tried the evdo only route and was in the same boat you are; I could make calls, and send texts, but I couldn't send an email or receive calls or texts. If I selected cdma prl auto (or something along that line) I could get full access again. I now get the 3G most of the time around here (Dallas area). Have patience, I'm sure it'll get better for you.
