Romney vs. Obama

Well election is over if Romney gets nominated. It's not that Romney lied, but lied and was so easily caught. Don't think even the dittoheads will vote for this clown. I wouldn't be surprised if the Republican Party found a way not to nominate Romney at the convention.

Romney tests electorate's tolerance for lying - Video on NBCNews.com

The Republican party would not nominate Romney just because he is a liar? Will the Democratic party not nominate Obama for the same reason? Apparently neither party is running any candidates at all this year I guess?

Romney is such a brazen liar that its insulting even to the intellect of dittoheads or at least those dittoheads that have a wish for a brain.

You're going to quote NBC News, a "news" organization that more than once admitted it outright made up stuff when reporting about Romney? One or more persons (scapegoats) got fired for what NBC did. Sadly, those who were really guilty, the big whigs like Andrea Mitchell et. al. who intentionally edited news footage then lied about what they were reporting, kept their jobs.

NBC reeks of slime. Period.

Just as brazen as any politician. Singling out a politician for being a liar is like singling out a fish for being wet.

Well, since you didn't supply a source, I'll take your word that somebody was fired. In Romney's case, he won't be hired.

I'm certainly not betting on the outcome of the presidential election, but if I was forced to, I'd bet that Romney will win as long as the focus remains on the economy.

I've been all over this country to know that Obama is really not liked as a president at all. The right track/wrong track polls, one of the most critical and foretelling polls in existence, has for some time shown very bad news for Obama. People liken Obama to Carter, who 8 weeks before the election in 1976 led Reagan by double digits but got crushed in a landslide.

There is just so much dismay with Obama nationwide that he is very unlikely to win re-election, especially with the unemployment rate still at 8.5% (and not likely to go down by November), gas prices extremely high, and an anti-business, anti-jobs mentality he possesses.

I would add lack of emthusiasm among Democratic voters to the list.

Personally, IMHO, this is Romney's race to lose and not Obama's to win. The latter wins ONLY if he keeps the attention off the economy and on Romney's Bain Capital, for which, BTW, factcheck.org criticized Obama's campaign for total untruths about that whole thing.

I would disagree with you. I think it's Obama's race to lose. I think it's his race to lose mainly because he hasn't f'd up anything majorly. Things are basically just as bad as they were when he took over. Nothing has changed much. People have no reason to toss him out of office unless they're ticked about Obamacare. I think it will come down to that.

Huh? Things are worse in many areas than they were when Bush was president. The American people have plenty of reasons to kick him out of office, not the least of which is Obama's horrible business policies.

As James Carville often said, "It's the economy, stupid!" He is so right.

And as President Reagan once asked us: "Are you better off now than you were 4 years ago?" In addition to me, a large majority of Americans is, indeed, NOT better off.

At this point, I'd vote for ABO--Anybody BUT Obama. And I'm far from some right-winger, too.

Anti-jobs mentality? Horrible business policies? You're going to have to bring some numbers and quotes to play with, because I have no idea what on earth you're talking about. All Obama talks about anymore is saving the economy and propping up the middle class. Romney can't wait to give more tax cuts to the 1% and help them ship more American jobs overseas.

Yeah, okay.

Obama's entire mentality is anti-business. I can line up dozens of friends of mine who are business owners in different parts of the country, and every one of them says the same thing--Obama's policies and regulations have hurt them to the point where they either will not hire or have to let people go because the cost of them doing business has sored. They're being strangled. And we're not even talking about Obamacare. When that gets fully implemented, business in this country will be in even more serious trouble.

I find it typical of folks like you who can't seem to grasp the fact that just because someone is not a fan of Obama, said person is a right-winger. I'm fed up with both parties. I live in a state where 4 of our governors in the last 30+ years have gone to prison--2 Republicans and 2 Democrats. I'm quite familiar with Obama's political career and how he was a total do-nothing state senator and U.S. Senator. His presidency isn't much better.

But that's to be expected from someone who has never held a job in the business world.

Guess some right ring nut jobs think being pro We the People is anti-business. There are some small samples of business owners that are incompetent and want to blame anything or anybody for their failures.

Help is on the way for businesses.

Identifying the arrogant boss

"Arrogant bosses can drain the bottom line because they are typically poor performers who cover up their insecurities by disparaging subordinates, leading to organizational dysfunction and employee turnover.

A new measure of arrogance, developed by researchers at The University of Akron and Michigan State University, can help organizations identify arrogant managers before they have a costly and damaging impact"
