Root Root and CWM Recovery for ZTE Concord 2

It didn't work you said to install KingoRoot and install King User and I did that then I went to KingoUser once and then closed it and then I went to KingoRoot and I clicked root and it went to 90 percent then said root failed.

Keep trying... 90% is real darn close. Most non Roots shut down at 70-ish%..
 
You gotta play around alot it doesn't always take on first try it took me a day or two. I had two of those concord 2's both rooted the way I told you. the recovery on the one I still have still won't recognize zips. I don't knw the rhyme nore reason I just know how I rooted it. I even took the bold jump and installed supersu on top of kingo and kicked kingo out. just keel on it it does work!

I keep getting error code 0x14CEFE!!!
 
Right on. Use Rashr.apk or Flashify.apk to put CWM as recovery to make backup &/or flash one of my SuperSu ROMs (I ripped Kingo out). My J011y Experiment or Deodexed/Debloated might be fun for ya.. [emoji41]
 
Oh! Jolly Experiment ROM is by far my fav ROM for this device so far!!! Go brichster, Go brichster! its you're b-day! / Build- day lol.....OK I'm done.....

Ya he is pretty damn good at what he does a? I'm awfully lucky he got with me after I found a way to root and recovery no PC. Without him no ROMs. And he already built the ROMs with supersu intact. Just to let everybody knw you can install superSU over kingo! Off the rip just download SuperSU off play store and run it then uninstall Kingo root tool and Kingouser!!!

Just got one today after a hell of a *********** from Walmart.com Tried all kinds of ways I have found online to root it (ADA-ASEC, root genius...) and now this one. Getting the same error most got. Wondering how many times I'm gonna have to do this before it takes? Any hints? Rough estimate?

Need details: what EXACTLY did you try to Root with and which other versions of those programs/apps did you attempt with? Last I knew, the KingRoot.apk from XDA developers done fine, just sometimes took many tries. Keep trying.

P.S. Where'd @The-Truth go?!

Same here, I was successful to get root access:
  • Go to Settings | Connect to PC | Enable USB debugging "On (Checked)"
  • Go to Settings | Security | Unknown Sources | "On (Checked)", and Verify apps "Off (Unchecked)"
  • Download "Kingo SuperUser [Root]" from Google Play Store
  • Launch Kingo SuperUser | Go to "Kingo Root" from Settings menu
  • It will launch a browser and lead to Kingo ROOT website
  • Tap "Download for Android"
  • Download "KingoRoot.apk" (Path: /Phone/Download)
  • Find "Download" app from the menu
  • Tap "KingoRoot.apk" and install it
  • Launch Kingo ROOT
  • Tap Go to Superuser (I tried several times)
  • Cross your fingers!

sorry to be another one of the noobs bugin on the zte but i completed the root and was in the adb when my phone shut off. i got it to boot to recovery but not any further if you wouldnt mind leniding a hand i would appreciate it please send pm
