Root Root and CWM Recovery for ZTE Concord 2

Ok so I can confirm you no longer need a PC, to root the Concord 2 through recovery. Root using Kingo not to be confused with Kingroot. Then download rashr off playstore and flash Hroarks cwm img. for the Concord 2

Next, download & flash a Stock ROM with Root. It'll have all traces of KR & King-o-Root removed & replaced with SuperSu. Enjoy!!
 
Yessir!!! BCRichster has out done himself as usual and modded another ROM for me, and you! give er ago folks. Youre Concord 2 by ZTE will have never ran so well or be so responsive and/or looked and felt so sweet! JollyRodger skull & crossbones boot img. built in init.d scripts such as increased SD card read ahead speeds and zip alignment, Busybox & Viper music/sound equalizer to name a few tweaks & mods! just sweet work within a deodexed SuperSU built in ROM for youre ZTE Concord 2! I have also included instructions on how to gain root and flash Hroark13 & Shabby Penguins CWM recovery img with rashr a free apk within playstore. No pc required any longer guys & gals, ENJOY!!!!........
OH!!! and (EVERYTHING) works guys.

@The-Truth .. He temp Rooted with King-O-Root (NOT KingRoot) and installed CWM from this thread with Rashr.apk from play store. Then boot to recovery (CWM), AND MAKE A BACKUP/NANDROID. Full Reboot so backup saves correctly, reboot recovery again to Wipe data & both caches before installing one of my SuperSu Rooted ROMs. You'll have a choice of several versions of Stock to choose from. If you're wanting to use Xposed framework or use themes, I'd go with the Deodexed ROMs. Here's pure Stock choices:

It's Stock based, Deodexed, extra Debloated, and has an init.d supported kernel with several app changeouts/upgrades

I posted how I one click rooted and gained recovery on the concord 2 no pc required as I went along. The rest was/is all BCRichsters fine work. But its all in the original pc root method thread by Hroark13, jcase, Shabby Penguin and any body else I may have left out in mentioning. So in other words the way I went about it is all mentioned in the original root through CWM by way of pc thread.
 
Any body know why that within cwm it says can't mount sd card? I cant make a backup or anything cant flash any of bcrichsters roms, I mean I have cwm recovery but I mine as well.not as it doesn't do me any good if it won't mount/recognize anything. Anybody else having this issue it's the last step I need to figure out.
 
I can confirm u can remove kingo and kingo user just by installing supersu through recovery. There are however some SD mounting issues within cwm and it not flashing roms but you might get lucky like I did on my first concord 2. and you may not. You can flash xposedmod though, so I'm not sure rhyme nore reason for non mounting issue but I am looking into and working on it folks.
 
You took a big risk by Flashing the SuperSu zip over kingo.. That's how I bricked my Sync, Lol. Glad you got Lucky tho!
 
i think cuz kingo is temp root when i bootef into recovery temp root was no more so it just su rooted it from cwm. Im figurin. I softbricked my first Leon using supersume non recovery way, without having had recovery on it first.
 
Thats whats up. Always glad to post new methods. Im tellin ya ppl are sleepin on Kingo man, I swear by it and its easy to kick out and put in SuperSU

NO PC required. Just kingo root but you have to have kingouser apk off playstore for it kingo to say root success. Then flash CWM IMG from pc root post and use rashr also on playstore to flash CWM img. Then you can flash one of bcrichsters supersu roms. Or just download supersu and replace kingo it won't hurt you're phone I've done it
