Root Root and Recovery

With ROM manager has anyone try to flash the Optimus V recovery to see if it works? It does work with the Optimus M but the buttons are all rearranged. Might work.
 
Flashing the wrong recovery for your phone isn't usually a problem. Booting into the wrong recovery might cause a recovery loop or worse, a boot loop or boot hang.
It some times will only cause you to have a black screen in the recovery, because the recovery is incompatible with the screen drivers for the phone. This is why I provided the Droid@Screen and Java 6. If you have ADB established (use the Pre-packaged ADB Installer) and the Java 6 installed and run the Droid at screen, it will allow you to see the recovery menu screen on your PC (even though you can't see it on the phone). This will allow for a boot up into the system/ROM from the recovery menu.

Please do not try to flash a recovery until you know if it is A: Compatible with your phone screen drivers and B: It is compatible with your phones system/ROM.
 
I think it's around 1GB of useable memory. Supposedly it has 4GB of internal memory, but from various pictures that I've seen it looks like about 1 is actually useable.
 
Pauses in the .bat file you use to root the phone, "Press any key to continue" is the pause command being used in the .bat
 
I need help rooting my lg optimus m+ someone help i want to root it so i can tethef it to my lap top but i dont know how. Someone plz help
 
Does anyone have a link to the Spectrum Root that works for this phone or is there anything new to root the 2.3.6

EDIT: Got it thanks!! Then again maybe I don't confused with the M and the M+
