Root Root help!

Hey all!

My LTEVO is throwing a fit! I go to HTCDEV unlock (this would be my 4th HTC phone doing it this way) want I go into the fastboot, plug in the phone and my windows PC gives me the "not recognized" sound, ok, new cable, same thing. I fire it up and plug it in, it recgonizes it, but not in Fastboot mode. I know the fastboot on the PC is good I JUST relocked an OG EVO. Any ideas? My 2 EVO 4Gs did well, my Old E3D worked this way, but my LTEVO, no?

OMG, NVM I figured it out. I was missing drivers.

And then, it seems to me, when you go back to trying to do something with the OG Evo, the new drivers will conflict with that.

Drivers have driven me nuts on more than one occasion. Glad you got it sorted out. This is one reason I like Ubuntu for Android related things, no drivers there.
