Root Root not working?

I used Super One Click to root my phone. It is on Froyo. I am using the latest version. When its done, it says its been successfully rooted, but when I use Barnacle(or any other root app), they never work  I have the SuperUser app too. Help? :(

Ok I recently rooted my lg ally. It worked first time for me. Make sure you have the super user app if not just try to root it again. Also make sure that USB DEBUGGING IS ON I made thatg mistake the first time.

Did you use the level 3 root as described in the documentation at the original download link? I haven't tried this method personally because I used [GUIDE] FroYo 2.2.1 for Root Users! but I have heard it should work.

The only way I was able to root, is if I took out the SD card. Otherwise I would get stuck at "getting mount path". So is this why? Is there a way around the "getting mount path"?

USB Debugging is on and I have Superuser.

I got it!

Here's how:
Download Super One Click 1.6.3
Open Super One Click
Remove your SD card(I have read you may not have to, but I had too)
Click Root
Once done, reboot phone
Your LG Ally should be rooted :)

Well it isn't what I did to root my phone but the way works I guess. I just hit root and it worked the first time
