[ROOT] One-click root for LG Lucid :: 4/18/12

Ah you're right. I have it on my laptop but unfortunately I lent my laptop to a friend. I'll upload it when I can unless someone else can share it.

Is this is updated to the most recent version or whatnot? (i'm not very good with phones) Because I just download a new software update a few days ago, and i'm not sure if this root is compatible or not.

Thanks for responding so quickly, I didn't expect that.
As I said, i'm a phone noob. If this bricks my phone, all of my apps and crap are gone and I have to do a factory reset?

EDIT: what is your recommended minimum amount of battery life?
Do I need android SDK?
Do I need to unlock bootloader first? Will this Wipe everything?

You just need the files included in the ICS Spectrum root zip file, along with the drivers for the Lucid already installed. It shouldn't brick your phone but in the event it messes something up, you can use the unbrick method without factory resetting. You don't need to unlock the boot loader for rooting however there are certain apps you cannot remove after rooting which would cause the phone to not boot.

Oh and as for battery life, the rooting process doesn't take long at all I'd say at least 30% to be safe but really the tools just run for a minute then reboot your phone.

Just to be 100% sure, this should work with ICS right?
(Hopefully) Last question.
Im have some driver issues. Im in windows 7 device manager and I find my phone. It says I need to update drivers, but when I click update, it says Its up to date, but the update drivers warning doesn't go away. Is this a large proble,/necessary to fix, or should I continue and ignore it.
