Not sure about you but did you disable your firewalls and your antivirus programs? That's what helped me.

No anti-virus running and turned off the firewall

Finally managed to get it to work tonight although i'm still not sure how I did. I kept running the program and turning the phone on over and over again and then after it not working after the umpteenth time I just sat it down and walked away and when I came back it had the S/W update screen on it. So happy right now and just installed CTMod on it. Stock was driving me mad

EDIT:

When I clicked on the Windows enabler I had to go down in the task bar and click it so it read as ON. Monster had that bit of info in his TUT.

I think this isn't working for me because it won't install drivers for "B Project USB Device" or the "CDC Serial" or "CDC Ethernet"

Can anyone help with this?

Just flash the stock updated rom from bloods thread and your good

For all of you who are unable to install the KDZ image, who are having lParam wParam Error Codes, I have figured out a guaranteed method for loading the KDZ file on the LS855:

1. Set Type: CDMA -SmartPhone
2. PhoneMode: EMERGENCY
3. Issue adb command "adb reboot recovery"
4. Phone will reboot into recovery, when you see the android with the box on the screen, immediately click Launch Software Update button.
5. Profit

trying with other methode on other forum that using 12second count i never make it
my only problem is my baseband "unknown"
dont know what to do, trying to factory reset it still unknown baseband.
tell me what to do to get my baseband works again

i wish i could do that i dont have any network on my phone.

perhaps doing adb command to wipe dalvik cache. coz i dont know the parameter to execute with adb.
im hopless wipe dalvik can be do with custom recovery right? than im stuck on all step to downgrade.
can someone please tell me how to wipe dalvik cache with adb? right now im on zvc stok rom with stok recovery.

hey everyone.....I know this sounds noobish.....I've rooted several phones in the past.....but i cant find LG United Mobile drivers 1.2.1 anywhere(which is what the best instructions list as prereq) ....to root my LG855 boost......the lg site gives me 3.7.2 .....& they dont work on vista....i get...B project usb driver fail.....can one of you masterminds please help ! ?.....btw links to usbfix is not a valid win32 app.

How important is the run as administrator? I don't have that option on my desktop and my laptop I don't know the password for. I can't get this to work for the life of me.

so ive tried this so many, till i figured i didnt install the JDK :banghead: ive tried downloading the latest which is the 7u7 and ive tried both jdk-7u7-windows-x64.exe and jdk-7u7-windows-i586.exe but i get an error message saying they arent win32 programs. running windows xp, boost lg marquee zv4...help???

not a win32 program means you're running xp 32 bit. You need to choose that version.

yeah i had downloaded both the 32 bit and 64 bit and both gave me that error but i got it to work. just downloaded the 32bit again and ran it. now im getting an upgrade error Wparam: 100 Lparam: 52 :/
