Root Rooted, Overclocked Gingerbread Quadrant Scores...

1600's stock GB. 1800-2k rooted and oc'd @1.2GHz with jrummy. My phone is not very happy running more than 1.75GHz though. Gets a little warm.

Pff I dont get why you all read so much into this.

I set mine at 1.3 ghz and got 1800, 1860, 1950, 2043, and 2152 LOL.

Anything from 1.1 ghz to 1.4 looks the exact same on the test, gets the same FPS yet gets different numbers.

I think its time to find a new benchmark...

1st run with VZW bloat frozen, OC'ed to 1.2 ghz running SPB mobile shell:

Not bad...

There is already a thread on this but I'll post this here too. Stock GB leak, overclocked. I'm actually back using Apex for now though.

I don't put much stock in them either. But it's just a way to see what everyone else is getting. I have no idea how to affect the scores except to up my overclocking speed.lol

Sorry if there was already a "GB" quandrant score thread, i searched and didn't see one.

Airmaxx, where did you get the circle clock for GB. I've been trying to install some circle clocks from Driod Pirate but nothing is working.

No stagefright, but it's a dirty filesystem trick. Mount your system r/w, then in console:

mount -o rw -t tmpfs tmpfs data/data/com.aurorasoftworks.quadrant.ui.standard

Then run Quadrant and see what happens ;)

Didn't even bother posting the benches - nor OCing, I have a launch phone which can hardly handle over 1.15, left it alone. All I know with froyo themed pre GB the phone ran like luke warm butter, post GB install so much faster - memory, quadrant scores, ahhh - phone runs great, all that matters, nice to see the numbers if you put stock into them though.

will that work with advanced?

Ok, so I've been playing with my phone settings for a couple days now and running quadrant to check for performance gains, taking these scores with a grain of salt of course, I managed to get my score up to 2241.

On another note. Is it just me or when you get to the video test with the moon going around the planet, is your moon shaped like an egg?.......lol.....I know easter just passed and all so I just wanna check.

Not only that but look at the fps when the moon is spinning. Its barely over 13 for me. I dont understand how a moon spinning a circle can cause the gpu such fits LOL. All the other videos show over 20+ fps but the moon is just too intense...

Anyways stock mine would run between 14-1600. Now on GB with apex alpha 2 OC'd to 1.25 LV I am getting 2200+. Its been a steady climb through froyo now to GB lol, I think we have reached our peak though.
