Root Rooting the Huawei Ascend for Cricket users!

I didn't try Barnicale yet, but I did try two other tether apps (which were free) and I had the same problem with all... There id something preventing the software from recognizing my phone vis USB driver. Now I can access the program files, when I choose that option. So, I know the USB cable is fine. But Something or some setting in my device manager needs to be set.

If you dontv know what root means, then you probably haven't rooted your phone. It is a process done by the user. If your phone is not rooted, none of the tether apps will work.

This one says Z4Root is one click rooting app for android phones - just like u said. Wonder why my phone says content not supported

You need to use dolphin browser to download it. Dont use the regular browser

To clarify, use dolphin browser on your phone to download z4root

wow! now my phone is acting up. I must have done something because the app wont load to my phone. it keeps saying that my SD card is busy and to turn off my usb storage. Well, I already disconnected from my laptop. So why do you think would it think that my Sd card is busy.

I installed Dolphin browser on my phone, got to the z4root install page then when I clicked to install, it cant. Also, when I did have my phone connected to my laptop and I chose the file share option, my E: drive disappeared from the explorer. Its like nothing can read my SD card anymore. Did I somehow un mount the card or something? ANy idea how ro see if my sd card is working properly?

Sd card will not work when phone is connected. Just disconnect usb cable. And try downloading again using dolphin.

I remember yesterday on my phone, when I went onto Settings > SD Card & Phone Storage > I think I accidently hit UNMOUNT SD CARD. So, then I turned off the phone and turned it back on, hoping that It would remount? Did I do something wrong when I did that? Perhaps it was never re-mounted?

Just put your laptop aside and work just from your phone. Take out and reinsert SD card then try downloading with dolphin, not the normal browser

Restarting your phone mounts the SD card automatically. Try restarting phone
