nope roms are phone specific. DO NOT TRY THAT. IT WILL BRICK YOUR PHONE IF YOU DO. and mik unfortunately is not dev'ing for the 3vo anymore.

so to answer your first question is yes you can root the 3vo. i have a rooted 3vo and it is just as cool as the og evo. but i would hurry becuase they are now coming out with 3vo's that have hboot 1.5 which is not rootable. you will have to use htc's bootloader unlock method. but this will 1. void your warranty(duh) and 2. it will watermark your phone so that they(sprint and htc) will know that you unlocked it. however, if you are lucky enough like me, and you get hboot 1.4 or 1.3 then you can use revolutionary to root your phone. it is exactly the same as the og evo.

I literally was about to flash Mik 2.61 myself since its my favorite ROM on my Evo 4G. You just kept me from bricking my phone. I googled the question and came back to my hangout here..Ocnbrze I had hit u direct before I bought the Evo 3D. Was looking to see what your thoughts before I jumped in since I knew you did recently as well. I decided to jump in Dec 7th (49.99 couldnt beat price) though and so far I'm enjoying the phone.

I noticed I dont see alot of Rom support. What ROMS to you like so far or have you stuck with since picking this phone up if you dont mind my asking..
