Rumors

I'm content sticking with my Note 2, but if Samsung manages to pull off the same thing they did with the S4 (fitting a bigger screen into smaller physical dimensions than the predecessor), then that device is perfect. One of the main reasons I was okay getting the Note 2 is because it was thinner and less wide than the original Note. The original Note just never felt quite right holding, whenever I tested it out. The Note 2 felt much better to hold (despite being taller), but was just on the verge of uncomfortable for me.

The only exception that I'd make, for getting a phone with bigger physical dimensions, is if Samsung finally releases a production model with the flexible screen that goes from a phone size and folds out to a tablet size screen w/o any break in the middle. All the early dual-screen iterations, with the ugly break in the middle of the 2 screens, just didn't make all that much sense to me.

Yeah I'm really interested to see the flexible screens. Probably next year.... Although rumors say LG may be first out the gate later this year.

Oh yes the dual screen Echo that was a major fail. Lol

There was another one released last year (not a Sprint phone) and I couldn't figure out why they would do it, considering the Kyocera was such a fail.

Okay, so just in case some people haven't seen any of the concept videos that I've been harping about, these videos are the reason that none of the rumors on the Note 3 are extraordinarily appealing to me and the only real thing that would blow me away is one of the concepts, true to life, and ready to put out into production:

So any rumors about the 4 different versions of the Note 3 sound okay, but considering they've been dancing around flexible displays for the past 2.5-3 years, I just want to know how long until the Note becomes a true phone / tablet hybrid, with flexible display and s-pen integration!

so i just found out that i'm due for a full upgrade from sprint. i was going to get the note 2 but i decided i'm going to wait a few more months and get the note 3.

these rumors so far have me chomping at the bits for one now.....LOL

While Note 3 is still on top of my list, I'm curious to see what the next Nexus brings. I hear it's going to be based off the G2.....and that screen is gorgeous.

My first smartphone was the HTC HD2, but since I've had my Infuse 4G I'm stuck on Samsung. The ease of rooting and flashing of custom roms on the Samsung's is a big selling point for me. What other device can be brought back from a brick with a simple USB jig. I am so glad I'm eligible for an upgrade. Sign me up for the Note III.
I might consider the T6 now... The new speakers on the Htc One surprised me with how good they sounded compared to other phone's speakers.

Oh well, I guess we'll have to see :p

By the leaked specs, now I'm really intrigued to see if the physical dimensions end up slightly smaller than the Note 2. If they do, I might just upgrade...again...LOL. Only thing that hurts is that I'm not upgrade eligible, so it'd have to be full retail price.

Dedicated camera button? Cool.

Forgot to mention that I like that too. I miss having the dedicated camera button that I had on the Photon. Granted, the on screen camera button takes such quick instant shots that I haven't had an issue since I got the phone, but still would be nice having a dedicated camera button again. Makes me wonder if it'll have different pressure points, due to all the cool software that Samsung has on its camera.

I hope it does have a dedicated camera button. I am eligible for an upgrade on my second line. My main line not until Feb. I can't wait to see what it will really be like.
