Root RZR and CMW PROBLEMS!

I need help because I messed up the ROM on my phone.

I installed RZR and I'm trying to get back CWM because RZR is not working. I cannot get on my phone till I can flash another ROM and ... im here now. I've been trying to uninstall it with some BAT file I found here that allows you to choose from the two recoveries.. but no go it keeps popping up. Please help! I tried flashing Stock Recovery and CMW over the RZR but it wont work.

The only thing I can think of is to downgrade ithttp://androidforums.com/showthread.php?p=3775233
What version are you on:confused:
 
Never used it myself-wish there was a easier fix for you. The downgrade is easy though. If you need help just holla:thumbup:

Yeah just downgrade and then upgrade.

Remember when doing either one that your computer isn't set to sleep or cut off or even the screen saver to cut on. I like to be sure. :D

But just follow the guide and read the directions carefully and you'll be okay.
 
I was able to use the RZR recovery File and got back into the ROM but as soon as it rebooted now its stuck on RZR.


I need help the program is not locating my phone and I have the drivers. Stuck on the Port / Standby dont know what to do now.

Hello sorry to hear that rza recovery didn't work, well hey that makes 2 of us now I don't know if u downloaded both parts of the rza recovery but it has 2 zip files. Now u can take the expert and the right way to downgrade. Or go back and the system files of your esteem and remove the su files from the system folders one is located in the bin and one located in system app. Now put phone back to usb on computer and hit unroot.pull battery for 10 minutes power up.....Bam u have been unrooted and can start clean or u can downgrade
I had the same problem just don't flash cwm recovery and rza recovery together I couldn't remove either one.

RZR has 2 zips? umm it has an optional thingie but isnt required or needed for install. ;)
 
Never used Rzr. Never even seen Rzr. Can't imagine wanting anything other than CWM. What else would you need? CWM 4 life yo!
 
I have the lg optimus m+ . i had installed rom manager and CWM(not sure ) had a friend helping. CWM did not have my phone listed and we tried to recover/backup so as to load a new rom. We never got the rom to take so everything stayed the same. Except now I do not have WIFI. I have tried the hard reset and have erased the cwm and the rom from my phone(it was still jsut in a file on sd) but I still dont have wifi. please help I dont want ot have to factory reset if i can avoid it

First wrong forum section bud. Next how did you delete cwm?
 
uninstalled the rom manager premium , then deleted cmw from sd card
and sorry. direct me to correct forum. was googling and found this one referring to cwm.
 
sorry i just notcied rom manger and cwm are same install. It did not have my phone listed (optimus m+) so he chose optimus 2x for recovery.and recovered to v5.0.0.8. when nothing worked to allow new rom. I unistalled rom manager and deleted all related files to cwm.
