Root S-off achieved but problem flashing

Hey guys need some help. I've rooted and unrooted a billion times. Flashed plenty of roms with s-on. Decided to get s-off so I don't have to deal with extra steps when flashing. After all this I don't feel like a noob but I am not real tech savy.

My problem is after getting s-off (which went smoothly) I flashed twrp recovery then flashed supersu. All good. Went to flash a new rom and it keeps saying failed halfway through flashing and phone goes into boot loop or bricks. Only way to fix it that I know of is to relock run RUU and start over. Which I did a few times yesterday. After running the RUU and rerooting my bootloader screen says unlocked not "dirtyracun"anymore, and s-off. No "tampered"mark and I still can't flash any roms... I've tried new and old version of twrp and goomanager to flash.

Any suggestions

What is you hboot number?

Also what is your radio number?

If you have the latest radios, chances are you've got the latest kernel and you're trying to use TWRP 2.4.1. These won't work together.

I'm on Tapatalk on my phone, so bear with me. :o

Sry just double checked radios 1.12.11.0809.
I think I read somewhere I have to update that to 1.15 or higher for everything to work right?..
How do I update radios?

Stop and take a minute to let us know everything your hboot screen says.

When you start doing things you think you heard with core phone components you end up with a shiny paperweight.

ok it sounds like that you are not wiping well.

what are you wiping? you need to wipe dalvik cache, cache, factory data, and system.

what rom are you trying to flash?

I Wiped all those multiple times prior to flashing, and re downloaded the rom from two different places.
I was trying to install bad seeds jb tranquility rom

Make sure you flash the firmware package for the 3.15.651.16 JellyBean OTA first, then flash the latest.

Don't skip any radio versions in between, thats a one way ticket to Brick City. :(

Last but not least, my apologies for not welcoming you to the forums. :o

Soooo, Welcome to the forums!! :D

Ok to make sure I have this straight I'm running stock rom with all the bloat apps deleted. I should RUU it back to stock 2.13 firmware which was the last ota I accepted. Then reroot, twrp, supersu. Then flash 3.15, then flash 3.16? At which point I'll have the newest radios and should be good to go?

was able to mess around with my phone and updated my firmware to the newest version with no problems. updated my twrp to the newest version and then wiped factory data, both caches, and system. then flashed bad seeds rom with no luck... it starts flashing the rom gets a couple steps in then reboots to the htc white screen and does nothing i have to force it off and go back into bootloader. Any suggested would be appreciated.

hmmmmm how long are you waiting? does if go thru the splash s creen and then the bootanimation and stop there? or does it go back to the splash screen all over again? have you tried flashing other roms?

first time i waited 20 min or so, nothing. I don't think its flashing much of the rom. its on the twrp screen for a min or so then boots straight to the htc screen. no boot animations

i also tried to flash meanrom which used to be my daily driver and tried to flash my backup. i wipe go to install select it swipe to install i installs for maybe a min then boots straight to the htc screen.

ok the htc screen is called the splash screen. that part is normal but it taking 20 min on the splash screen is not normal. what about nandroid backups? can you restore them?
