Root S-off achieved but problem flashing

md5 is a way to verify that you have an uncorrupted download file. in the op for the rom should be an md5 #. by using a md5 checksum program, it will compare the one in the op to the one downloaded. if they match then you file is not corrupted and is safe to flash.

i know it is in the thunderbolt forum over at xda, but it still works for this phone.
 
ok scratch that....it is usually in the op......in the case of bad seed it is in the download page on the dev host site.

yes op=original post or it can mean original poster depending on context.

if you look at my previous post i have the md5 checksum. it is found on the dev host site where you download the file.
 
ok that is good at least.......so you can't flash it then?hmmmmm i wonder if you can try and downgrade twrp. there are some funny things going on with the latest ota(i know you did not flash it) and twrp. it could be the any 3.15 rom will not flash right with twrp 2.4.1.0 maybe try twrp 2.4.0 instead.....just a thought.

i could try that but isn't meanrom a 2.13 rom not 3.15? and it won't flash either. do you know where i could get a flashable twrp 2.4

weird i thought you tried mean bean and not the mean rom.....oops

well mean rom should work not sure about the latest twrp(it was just released recently). but you can go here for most things:http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-lte-all-things-root/614073-list-utilities-roms-kernels.html. go to the utilities section. there should be a twrp link in it. also here is the teamwin's website(the devs behind twrp)TeamWin Projects - TWRP 2.4 - | TeamWin

thanks dude that was it! i downgraded to twrp 2.3.1 and it flashed properly. just finished booting up. good looking out man.
