Root S-off on a replacement phone ?

Just curious, what hboot is currently installed? 1.57 or 1.58?

the only thing I can suggest is maybe try a different wire. if you have to, Pull apart an old phone cable and use one of the small wires inside, Shaving the ends. make sure its solid core wire. You cant use stranded core wire.

It Worked!! I used an old cable wire and it worked. Now i'm rooted and S-off. Thanks alot for your help, couldn't have done it without you And thanks remanifest your guide worked perfectly...
