Does this even work for our devices? I thought they said S-Voice was only for ICS devices?

we sure do, put it on one of my buddies phones.
He has ics and now s-voice on his prevail.

Works on HTC's LG's and a few others so far.

CM9 is ICS based. Therefor this will work with it.

Not to be a mood killer but ics. Has been ported if u look under all root guide cm9/miui alphas are ics. Clones and not every apk will work on all phones with out first proper codeing number one rule HTC has there own source code but has to be worked for certain features to work and has to be ported for it to work on non HTC phones a couple of tweaks to the code ad bam sense on prevail ;P

Yup. I use it too... Alice is very nice, lol...

Even if the app does work on the compiled cm9 Samsung is starting to block devices from using S-Voice if its not recognized as a Galaxy S3.

LOL. Now I'm gonna go and try Alice out. I've tried several of those type apps but haven't found one that works very well yet. Hopefully Alice will be the 1. thx

No, sry. ICS refers to Android 4.x, CtMod is 2.3.6 Try the link i provided above it works with every prevail mod/ROM

I've been using Alice for a couple of days now and it's pretty darn neat. It's by far the best 1 I've tried.
