Root Safely Removeable Bloatware

I just uninstalled MyMetro, and my phone is now giving me this message nonstop:
"Sorry! The application com.nuance.nmc.sihome (process com.nuance.nmc.sihome) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
I can't do anything without it popping up now. Help?

EDIT: LOLjk, reboot was needed. Thanks.

I have delted
Android live wall paper
Books
Google Search
Live wallpaper picker
maps *which also removes latitude and places*
Metro Navigator
Metro Pcs Easy Wifi
News and Weather
Swype
Talk
Voice Dialer
Voice Search
Youtube
Have not had any problems. I can still download from the market even after removing talk. So that can't be true. I only left Virtual Voice mail and my metro (which i rarely use, but doesn't take that much room)
I have 80 megs of free space on my phone! Moved Facebook and other installed apps to my sd card. Have no problem with my phone.
Oh and I'm a total noob! First time I've ever done anything like this!!

what about bluetoothtest, brcmbluetoothservices, Certificate Installer,com.android.hiddenmenu,com.sec.android.providers.downloads, dataCreate,Dialer ,Dialer Storage,DRM Content Launcher?

> Bluetoothxxxx
Absolutely not!

> Certificate Installer
Nope.

> Dialer
Go ahead, just don't expect to call anybody. ^_^

> DRM Content Launcher
I wouldn't recommend it.

The phone has to reboot if you delete the bloatware to ensure that your phone stays running properly. (It was a system app.) Just don't delete anything not mentioned within the first few posts, otherwise you're likely to brick your phone.

Hey guys new guy here to rooting and such. I got it all rooted and everything but I am trying to remove the bloatware and I used two methods.

1. Remove with Titanium Back Up when I did this the phone rebooted and such but when i went back the program was still there what gives.

2. When I tried with file manager it did the same thing and yes it does have super user permissions.

Any help regarding this would be awesome thanks!

Which bloatware have you tried to remove, the metro apps?

Also try going into your root explorer or settings and uninstall apps by long pressing them and see if it will let you. I havent had an issue removing anything so these are just ideas.

if someone can somehow post a rooted with removed bloatware rom asap i would greatly appreciate it. i am going to work on a custom project that will allow us pretty much the same device as the admire on the $40 plan and/or their 4/$100 plan until the end of the year. this will include aws aka 1700mhz and 3G (EVDO.) you can see time is running out. this will work in all markets, i repeat, all markets. i will gladly give props to who posts the rom and also a full guide on how to make this happen :) thanks in advance!

I have almost the same thing as create a ROM. With one click, you get a rooted phonoe with the bloatware removed. I did this by modified the one click BAT file include scripted commands that delete all of the bloatware.

You could continue to modify the script to push other apps that you think belong, such as how it is modified to push superuser.apk onto the phone.

Yes the Metro Apps. and I just tried through the root explorer and I cant even get to System/Apps. Really weird is there anything else I can give access or super user permission to let me by pass what ever is not letting me?

are you using the windows version for the root process?

Can anyone tell me if they have successfully removed the stock browser without having market issues? I did that to my lg and it made the market crash. Any other issues with removing the stock browser?

now is this the full rom of the bloatware removed and all metropcs settings? i'm going to be putting this onto the samsung vitality (identical hardware) and making it work onto metro. once everything is complete i will be posting complete full instructions for all to enjoy the great low monthly price :)

Thank you all for the list of garbage that you can remove from the phone without bricking it. I have seen that some of you have removed the metroweb. I use Dolphin HD and want to remove the metroweb browser. I use Ti Backup. How is the metrobrowser listed so that I cam remove it as well? I only have one bookmark that is not in the Dolphin browser but that is easily changed.

Thank you in advance for the information.

Thank you again for the list of all the garbage that can be removed/moved from the phone without it bricking. My phone is so much faster now and I do not keep getting the annoying error that I am running out of storage on my phone. I had 19M free. Now I have like 50M free. Moving Facebook to the SD card helped.

Also, does anyone know if its possible to remove Latitude and Places? Titanium backup doesnt list them as individual applications. Are they part of google maps? If so i guess im stuck with them.

If you download the pay app bloat freeze you can freeze any app to the point were the system will not even see in the installed apps or the app menu, and still speed up the phone without the worry of bricking your phone. If anything goes wrong just unfreeze your last app frozen and problem solved.

need help guys.. i already root my samsung admire and but i can't see the "system folder" using file manager (/mnt/sdcard).. but i noticed that when i go to (File manager/Settings/Root Setting) i can't enable the root explorer.

Please help me thanks!

OK, so I followed the procedure to root the Admire (after several hours of frustration) and finally got Titanium pro to show that I have root access (as well as root explorer with r/w access) in all folders. I can delete the apps in /system/apps but when rebooted, they come back. What am I doing wrong here?

I believe this thread is for the Samsung Admire in which case removing the "my metro" bloatware is safe and has no side effects. May want to look through the Esteem threads to see what you can/cant remove on that device.
