Well guys I have a thread here with all the links
http://androidforums.com/fascinate-all-things-root/210499-1-6ghz-its-real.html
But to partially answer your guys' question Im 2500+ in quadrant, LinPack 13.6, SpeedPi 369ms and Benchmark Pi 1540ms.
Despite the skepticism at xda I believe its real. The numbers scale precisely as they should to be a genuine 1.6. I have run many tests at 800Mhz and this 1.6 truly is nearly double the performance in every cpu dependent test. Its also remarkably stably. Four other bonuses:
a]kernel supports custom bootanimations
b]beav turned down the voltage on the lower settings like 100Mhz so when you phone is idling now its drawing even less power to prolong battery life
c]This kernel is as stable if not more than the 1200LV from Dirrk Im so fond of.
d]You get BLN. So when you have a missed text or call your soft keys stay lit, a la an LED notification.
Its a cannot lose decision. Great thing is if for some reason it does not work just flash back to your old one. Comes in voodoo and no voodoo flavors
