I spend the rest of my forum time on Ravelry in the "Chronic Bitches" group. It's a chronic pain support group in the middle of a knitting site, if you're wondering. If you're into the fiber arts, Ravelry is THE place to be. Forums for everything.
I used to live on IGN's VN Boards, but after 4 years as a moderator there I retired with over 25k posts. I don't post there any more, I get too annoyed.

Wow, nice stuff ladies. Im on several other forums/message boards. Although for the past couple months Im mostly here. Mine is an eclectic blend a few other phone sites like xda and ACForums, [H]ardOCP, and a few bodybuilding type sites. My username isnt always saps however if you go stalking me
Kaessa, you know there is another gal in her that does fiber art, but damn if I remember her handle right now. But her sig is definitely advertising her fiber business or something...I think...maybe..its late
I'd be interesting in having a chat with you about Chronic pain. I've been into the whole weight lifting thing for almost 25 years and age, time and overuse have caught up with me in recent years. These days I go thru NSAID's like M&M's and even Robaxin and Oxy I use too frequently, sadly. Mega-dosing fish oil helps a bit but then I smell like a fish

I used to be part of a bunch of forums for Airsoft, videogames, guitar and car tuning but I sort of distanced myself from those forums as I saw myself on them more than the actual activities that they were about. That and I have no REAL computer right now. Just my phone.

I've been a part of a bunch of different forums. Ones I used to frequent the most (besides this one now) are ToyotaNation, a forum of a really good webcomic (Questionable Content) with all different topics, and Beer Advocate forums. I've also been on a bike forum, Subaru forums and xda (of course), but I just joined a student doctor forum as I'm applying to grad schools.
Saps, what kind of lifting did you used to do? Power, body building? I ask because I majored in Exercise Science for undergrad.

Thats cool about Exercise Science. Have you been able to parlay that into a career in the field?
I actually still lift, sort of, I think I've been to the gym once in the past month
. But this is almost needed time off as I never de-load or anything like that ever. I just take time off.I used to do the whole bodybuilding thing, not so much in the posing trunks but the never ending chase for hypertrophy. Then a few years ago I realized that while I'd gotten bigger over the years I wasn't really stronger than I was a decade ago, so I decided to give PL a try and it was just what the doctor ordered, for awhile. After a couple years of that kind of lifting and not putting enough focus on recovery, the pendulum began to swing the other way. I'll probably always be in the iron game to an extent but now I have to change things up.
I've been on the fence about getting my CSCS or something like that. My gym wants to be get any certification so I can be a trainer there but thats a different ballgame.

Oh boy MF now you've done it. You've opened Pandora's box. Now AF will be flooded with these hide trees. Don't worry I'll do my part to contribute to the problem.
BTW, mixed drink or beer or not its hard to resist the charms of our favorite vixen, Moonfire.
