Reminds me of a famous quote which I think belongs to Benjamin Franklin "Don't complain when you have to get up early in the morning, the day is coming when you wont be able to get up."Sigh...I don't wanna go to work

Oh boy MF now you've done it. You've opened Pandora's box. Now AF will be flooded with these hide trees. Don't worry I'll do my part to contribute to the problem.
Yeah dont apologize, yours was awesome. Like anything this will probably crescendo and then fade after the 71st hide-treeI guess I should apologize...but I won't.

BTW, mixed drink or beer or not its hard to resist the charms of our favorite vixen, Moonfire.
Of course, we need to be responsible and careful, I did pass ShootMeitis to her
Then again I think she just gave a whole bunch of us HideFever
Good afternoon all -- I just got a Fascinate yesterday and I'd like to find a better calendar app. I specifically need one that can handle custom recurring events (say, every 9 days). Any thoughts/recommendations??
Welcome to the forums, you should have gotten an X
****quickly runs for cover
Alright saps, that was funny XD Whole bunch of contagious stuff going around..
Welcome to the forums and to the a-freakin-mazing world of Fascinate-ownership. What I would do is go to your Google calendar online link and set up that kind of event there. It's less limited than the phone app, and assuming you logged in with the same account, it automatically syncs to your phone.
*throws tomatoes at jreed*
Moonfire gave you the best advice to sync of google calendar. Its very true the stock calendar is not good. A lot of folks migrate to either Jorte or get Launcher Pro+ and its calendar. You kinda have to find your own groove though thru trial and errorGood afternoon all -- I just got a Fascinate yesterday and I'd like to find a better calendar app. I specifically need one that can handle custom recurring events (say, every 9 days). Wow, nice stuff ladies. Im on several other forums/message boards. Although for the past couple months Im mostly here. Mine is an eclectic blend a few other phone sites like xda and ACForums, [H]ardOCP, and a few bodybuilding type sites. My username isnt always saps however if you go stalking me
Kaessa, you know there is another gal in her that does fiber art, but damn if I remember her handle right now. But her sig is definitely advertising her fiber business or something...I think...maybe..its late
I'd be interesting in having a chat with you about Chronic pain. I've been into the whole weight lifting thing for almost 25 years and age, time and overuse have caught up with me in recent years. These days I go thru NSAID's like M&M's and even Robaxin and Oxy I use too frequently, sadly. Mega-dosing fish oil helps a bit but then I smell like a fish .
TSD only 7 more hours for till you can sleep

Will do. Thanks. If I PM it'll be short; if I email it wont beSaps, shoot me a message here or email me (contact me link on my blog), I'd be happy to share what I've learned.
Good news for today: Orthopedic doc said my son's scoliosis is at the "wait and see" stage, so no surgery yet. We'll find out in six months. If it doesn't get any worse, he can skip the surgery. He's VERY happy about that... and I'm happy that I won't have to deal with a 17 year old with Asperger's recovering from back surgery.

Lo, a fellow QC reader! One of my favorite web comics; Marigold's faces today were priceless.
Thats cool about Exercise Science. Have you been able to parlay that into a career in the field?
I actually still lift, sort of, I think I've been to the gym once in the past month . But this is almost needed time off as I never de-load or anything like that ever. I just take time off.
I used to do the whole bodybuilding thing, not so much in the posing trunks but the never ending chase for hypertrophy. Then a few years ago I realized that while I'd gotten bigger over the years I wasn't really stronger than I was a decade ago, so I decided to give PL a try and it was just what the doctor ordered, for awhile. After a couple years of that kind of lifting and not putting enough focus on recovery, the pendulum began to swing the other way. I'll probably always be in the iron game to an extent but now I have to change things up.
I've been on the fence about getting my CSCS or something like that. My gym wants to be get any certification so I can be a trainer there but thats a different ballgame.
Wow nice Maz. And yes CSCS is the premier certification IMO. My sister is certified thru someone else I cannot remember the acronym now and no its an ACE which you get from a cereal box. She has done some figure shows and won a couple but now in her 40's wants to try the bodybuilding thing. She's trying to get me to do it with her but I get brain problems on the low carb diet. Its sad to say my best days are behind me but oh well.Haha yes, I'm sort of surprised (but glad!) someone else here reads it. And her faces were most definitely priceless today. One of my favorites was this one
Ah I see. I understand the 'never ending chase for hypertrophy', I think some people do this even to a somewhat subconscious extent (myself included). A lot of guys want to be faster, bigger, stronger. They don't realize you also have to learn to listen to your body and take time to recover, which will aid the goals of becoming faster, bigger, stronger in the long run.
Well, actually my intention is to become a physical therapist. I do plan on getting my CSCS in the very near future though, that's something I've been working on. It is quite a difficult exam. You should consider doing it if you are seriously thinking about it. It is one of the most respected certifications in the field (if not THE most).
My use of 'faster, bigger, stronger' above just makes me think of these guys:

Question, I noticed there's a "New Galaxys S phone," the Continuum, coming to Verizon in the near future. What's the difference between it and the Fascinate?
