Oh yeah I agree. The themes are generally ok at best (With a few being REALLY good and most being meh) but for some reason ADW just resonates with me better. And ADW EX is wiked fast. Im not used to so little lag when going between home screens/menus/Apps/ect.
 
This lounge is getting weak again. Same 5-6 peeps in here doing all the postings. Mind you I'm pleased to see these 5-6 peeps but still we used to be rollin. What's it going to take to get us jacked again? Froyo:o:p
 
Oh Froyo.

I found out a couple days ago that my mother's phone (LG Ally) is getting Froyo (officially) before us. It started rolling out already. This ticks me off.

Maz you do know we at least have a pair of alpha rom's for you right? Still its not the same granted. But some of us at least have a partial taste of 2.2. And it tastes good, real good :D

Yeah, I've heard I just haven't tried them out yet. I just switched to voodoo5 recently and am extremely happy with that now, but those rom's you mentioned are next in line :D I just meant official as in coming OTA through Verizon, though that doesn't matter to me. I'll still try out the rom's well before the OTA Froyo comes out for the Fascinate :) Perhaps within a week or so I'll jump to the Froyo rom's, I'm sure it does taste good :D

Getting closer all the time too Maz ;)
Seriously after the next respective updates [jt and PK] we might have working BT, GPS too [already got it with jt] from a certain point of view there are few hurdles left. For some the things not fixed are huge. Some need camera, some need MMS, some need the sdcard mount/ mass storage. I've been getting along OK without it since sunday myself. If you wait another week I have to imagine half the currently broken stuff gets fixed

Yeah, I know :) Part of the reason I was waiting was for some things that you have mentioned to be fixed. Not that I desperately 'need' each thing per se, but they are nice to have. I might get overanxious and just dive in soon though, we will see :D

Its definitely like 70% gtg now. Next release from jt and Kaos should give us bt [and gps from pk] that puts it at like 80% and if you can live without the camera 90%
 
I need adb in android and mass storage!!! Meh....soooooooooo....soooooooooo much more important to me.than anything else at this point...but you know what they say about beggars and choosers or something along those lines

Yeah oddly I have not heard much talk about that. Everyone asking about camera and BT but I have not heard jt or pk say anything about mass storage

which i dont really understand...granted i need mass storage more often than most...but adb? i mean thats 20x more important than camera :(

That's sort of why I planned on waiting, just because I know how quickly the devs work and in a week or so they'll probably have a bunch of the problems figured out :)

I would put mass storage and adb ahead of camera as well, but I'm sure a lot of other people wouldn't. Who knows, everyone has different priorities :)

Yeah I actually use the mass storage quite a bit myself as Im always dragging and dropping files, apks, zips, movies and what not. Its truly strange though that jt and pk have completely fixed adb since they kinda live and die with it. Oh well gettin close. v4 Kaosinate is out I havent moved back over yet because frankly it sounds like it just caught up to aosp. But still no BT, no sdcard/mass storage. This is not a complaint mind you, just a fact. Not sure Im going to wipe and flash just for a side step. My next rom jump might not be till one of the two has BT or sdcard

Let's be real we'll never see ice cream on the SF. I'd be very happy with a bowl of froyo with gingerbread sprinkled on top. AKA the .32 kernel with jt and pk magic for 2.3.2

Well a little birdy suggests me to that contrary to what another little birdie told me, Sammy still didnt give the final build of froyo to vzw yet :mad::(. So my 30 day bet might be ftl. Its kinda sad to think our aosp and Cm6 might not get fully working till the .32 kernel is ours/theirs. Im missing my you tube and espnradio a lot. I know I get revert back to 2.1 but Im being stubborn

Yea I hate to say it but I'm thinking I may stick with 2.1 for a lil while longer. With new job starting and getting used to it I may not have time to tinker around so I figure I'm probably gonna wait till at least next weekend to make the jump. Who knows by then it may be a lot closer to complete.

You gotta remember no home internet right now... So not quite as easy for me I have to rely on going to a relatives house. That makes me think priorities ;) I mean I feel 100% confident in myself but theres always that what if. And with my luck thats when its gonna bite me

If you have all the files on your computer you dont need internet ;).

FWIW I finally odin'd on the DL09 and am going to see if it makes a shred of difference over DJ05.

Thats where the problem lies all files I have are on mother-in-laws computer. I also had them on my computer at my previous work but ya know. But the biggest part of it all is that if I ran into being able to get in touch with you guys
