I dont think that you can change your gtalk account once you have signed in.
Try this:
Go to settings > Accounts and Sync > Add account (your new account)
and sync your gmail with it....

Guys did anyone tried tayutama's JM7 Modded ROM? I just flashed it. It looks awesome.

buddy if you dont mind using any other app for gmail chat then you can use fringe or nimbuzz or any other app like these. You can use both gmail accounts like that.
I am looking for a decent leather case for SGS. Though i am happy with the supplied pouch, scared of the opening on the side, already dropped once inside car by picking from the other end. Please let me know if anybody has bought a case [something like for iphone].

There is one leather case now available in market for SGS. It looks pretty good and big. It costs for Rs. 1100 and I am planning to buy it if there's no other alternative....

in SGS browser if I download any file it appears in a download window, anyone know where does the file gets saved physically ? which folder ?

i m using the beta version of froyo.
and i m using airtel 2g and mtnl 3g both ( bsnl 3g does not work )
as far as gps is concerned it is workin perfectly outdoors but does not lock location when u r inside .
still this is the gps issue right now.
voice naviagtion does not support in india . for voice u have to buy some other application apart of google.
but this phone worth to buy coz it keep improving and it has always something to keep me interested

I did checked in this folder but I see only attachment downloaded from gmail but not from browser
I have a few questions.
1. I installed JM7 but which CSC file and version should I use?
2. After *#272*????#, which version should I use?
In recovery, there's "multi_csc: error : empty" in red
3. I wanted to install I9000HVJH1 as well. But which CSC file shall i use?

Galaxy S UI is just too good....all you avatar from samsung. No compare to HTC Desire. Got hold of Samsung Galaxy S for around 28K. Very impressive...i past i have used IPHONE, but found GS ...will soon dump..IPHONE 4. Good prinicing, nice features, excellent touch interface, and syn between your email account and contact...is just too cool. Worth the money....can go for it..Me too waiting for the phone in Bangalore. If you don't like Touch Wiz 3.0 on the Galaxy S then you can install and use ADW Launcher. Anyways some people say that Touch Wiz 3.0 is a big improvement over its predecessor and prefer it over Sense ui. Its all perspective, so you can get the galaxy s and choose b/w TW 3.0 and the sense like ui of ADW launcher. Hope this lessens your confusion
Hmmm... all the stuff I downloaded using the default browser are here. I was going through the Browser settings and I found "Default storage" which is set to "Phone". is yours set to "Memory Card" ?

1. if you install JM7 from samfirmware.com then CSC file is included with it.
2. You dont need to choose any sales code.
After that install tayutama's modded ROM. Its very beautifully themed. Also its a lil bit faster.
3. For JH1 i think the CSC file is alwaz included if you install it from samfirmware.com.Sometimes a single .tar file is provided. Then you dont need separate CSC.
IC, I followed from Release: I9000XWJM7 - Multi CSC(s) Europe - xda-developers. CSC file is separated. Perhaps i chose a wrong CSC file and ended up with FC after installing Tayutama's custom ROM
It appears HVHJ1 download link is removed from samfirmware.com
I'll download from samfirmware.com and let you know

I just got my Galaxy S. Learning the ropes now(coming from a SE W810i it's a huge jump!). It's very obvious that to customize Android, set up google accounts, get Apps etc I need to have a wifi connection. I have Hathway cable broadband at home. Which router do I need to purchase to share this connection with my SGS? I am a complete n00b at routers..help!

Buy any Cisco Router those are easy to set up. Cisco's WiFi Routers are branded as Linksys. I'm using WRT54G. this model is very old. you can buy any of that category.
