Looks pretty much the same as what we saw at CES. No dual core processor but an April release date would be nice. I like the physical buttons but would rather have the Galaxy S2 / Infuse thinner form factor.

Seriously, now that the Tegra 2 is out how do these manufacturer's THINK they will sell their phone against a Dual core bionic?
 
So this one contradicts the rumor on the other thread here that Stealth will have dual core? The spec stated on that site looks exactly the same as from CES, so I would take it with some grain of salt. Honestly I'm not sure who's right at this point.

Dual core SGS2 will be probably only for GSM/HSPA+ network, not CDMA/LTE network due to the size required by LTE radio. So if this one ends up with single core, it's a bit disappointing. But if Bionic takes significant hit in battery life, I'm fine with phones like Revolution or Stealth (if it happens to be single core).
 
Definitely a phone to keep my eye on. With dual core this phone is a winner. Without dual core the battle for me becomes Unlocked Single Core-Tbolt vs Locked Dual Core Bionic. I remain optimistic that Sammy can pull it off because I think that's our best chance to get ALL of the new Tech Goodness packed into 1 phone. Patience is will be a virtue in this market.
 
Even if it has a locked bootloader the only reason I rooted my D1 is for speed, a dual core phone takes that out of the equation.
 
I for one wouldn't get dual core LTE phone if that means I should live with dismal battery life like less than 4 hours per charge. Even single core LTE phone like Tbolt seems to struggle with that, which may be partial or major reason for delay. LG Revolution is another one I'm looking at with more interest than Tbolt.
 
I think it looks terrible. I want a Samsung phone so bad but I want 2.3 and I don't want whatever shape that phone is or the hardware buttons.

All I want is an unlocked dual core LTE phone.. ;(

Is it really that hard to do? I very much dislike LG, but was considering the Revolution since it was SUPPOSED to come with the Tegra 2, hell it was code named the 'LG Tegra 2' but now that has been confirmed as single core, what's the point? Verizon can't think they're going to compete with all the dual core phones coming soon with their outdated tech and win. For those in the know, LTE is MUCH better than HSPA+, but to the average buyer 4G is 4G..

I spose u could use that argument to say that the average buyer won't really care about single vs. dual core, but for any salesman worth a damn its a great bullet to throw out there.

HTC Pyramid, Galaxy S2, all the LG phones.. What does VZW have? The Bionic, their network and higher prices..

You say that like dual core will be worse when in fact it should be easier on power consumption for the same tasks. Only when you're pushing the phone will it consume more than single core.

That sounds right in theory. But Tegra 2 based phones don't seem to do any better than single core phones in battery life in real world testings so far. Exynos, dual core Snapdragon might manage powers better. But I like to see the real testing results, not just theory.
 
Seems like it's drought time again for Stealth news. Any things confirmed launch date, dual core vs single core?
 
Kind of looks like the storm but does look pretty nice just not going to buy any more samsung products after the fascinate not being updated and doesnt seem like samsung is changing that
 
I don't like the form factor - looks brickish. Love Sammy screens, but this may be the Stealth's main draw as the form factor and possibly only being single core seem like yesterdays news. Guess we will see but right now this phone is not high on my list for a possible future replacement for my DX (I have an upgrade available currently).
 
Yeah, I am not a fan of the form factor either. It looks like a mid-low end device with a high end processor. I really don't understand these manufacturers. Why can't one of them come up with a truly "Super Phone". If you take a look at all the new 4g devices coming to the market, they all have one or more flaws but collectively, they all have one or more feature I want. For example, if the Thunderbolt had a bigger battery, HDMI out and dual core it would be perfect with the 8 gig of onboard storage, decent screen. The Bionic is Moto (locked bootloader) and only 512mb of RAM. Stealth looks like crap, but has dual-core. I was hoping the Revolution would be dual-core, that would put as close to what I am looking for.
 
I don't quite understand all the hates on look of stealth. To me it doesn't look any worse than Bionic or DX and actually a bit sleeker. I also like the shape of physical buttons on it better than DX.
 
Medias are saying today this is coming in April with Droid Stealth name. Still not sure of single core or dual core.

According to the screen shot in the phandroid article it is a 1Gh Hummingbird Processor. To me, that equals FAIL. If this phone is Dual-Core, I would consider it. Single-Core, not a chance. Especially with the new news that Moto Bootloader has finally been cracked.
