Hi,

I have my Galaxy Y updated to latest version DDLC3. I would like to root my phone and want to know if it is okay to use the attached file to root my phone with latest firmware or do I need any other file?

Did anyone tried rooting the phone with latest firmware (DDLC3)? Any issues?

thanks it worked on my SGY, and im trying to download the other apps for rooted SGY...

i have a question.. it is okay to delete the universal_gb_root_v15.zip on my SD card?

thnx alot....:D

Will rooting my phone with this method increase binary counter and also should i unroot first before i update to new official firmware,or will the rooting process revoke and i should i root again if that happens.By the way i have Galaxy Y GT S5360 with 2.3.6 DDLC3.

Thank you

It did not work for my samsung galaxy y gt-s5360 gingerbread 2.3.6 .
any ideas?

Run first the c.c.b.s.fv2 zip in recovery and then try to root.

But if you try to root fisrt and nothing happend then it goes like this:.

1. Unroot v4
2. c.c.b.s.f v2
3. Root v20
