Accessories Screen Protector / Invisible Shield?

So, just to make sure I'm understanding this right, Steinheil is just a screen protector (crystal clear or anti-fingerprint) while the SGP shield is one of the screen protectors PLUS something to go on the back of the phone?

Jus to let everyone know - I just received a Steinheil Anti-fingerprint, Anti-Glare for my wife's HTC DROID Eris. It was easy to apply and does exactly what it claims it will. However, it does make the screen look extremely fuzzy and I have a hard time using it because my eyes feel like they are trying to focus. I wish I had done a before and after photo on it, but I don't think I would like it on my Incredible. I plan on getting the crystal clear when it comes out, and I have ordered the ones from Verizon with a 25% discount to tide me over until SGP gets on board...

After looking at a bunch of reviews. Looks like ghost armor is getting the most decent reviews or at least I was unable to find a lot of negative reviews. Too bad their website is down.

Heres a Zagg 40% code if anyone wants it...

Enjoy.

(I ordered one with a 50% off code that I also got. $10.48 shipped for the screen cover only.)

It's only $10 shipped (for the full-body screen protector) at Best Skins Ever, but it's not available yet.

Maybe I'll just order a Zagg since I don't need full body protection (I have the black silicone case from Verizon).

I put my zagg invisible shield on today, works pretty well , even tried the key scratching thing :D and the stickyness appears to be going away very quickly

While I was deciding what kind of protector I wanted, I stopped by a Verizon store and picked up a three pack of their screen protectors. I must be an idiot, because no matter how careful I was or how many times I tried, I couldn't get it to go on without a bunch of crappy looking bubbles that I just couldn't work out.

It looked horrible with the bubbles and very "dull" looking besides.

I peeled it off and chucked the whole pack. Once I decide on which one I really want, I'm paying someone to put it on for me!

Was a solution required to apply the screen protector?

...bought (2) 3 packs tonight and the rep in the store was very nice installing it for me so I can observe. Pretty straight forward and I think looks great...almost invisible and actually gives me a bit more traction while sliding my finger. With a 20% discount it cost me about $9 per pack. If they last, I will be a happy camper. Certainly a good interim solution until the Incredible jury decides what's best.

Best way I've found is to run a hot shower for 5 minutes with the door shut, then go in and apply the screen protector. The humidity keeps the dust to a minimum. It also helps if you have some compressed air.

And for regular screen protectors, scotch tape works well to get rid of dust that clings to the screen or the back of the screen protector. Don't leave the phone in the bathroom while the shower is on, because high humidity has been known to trigger the water detection stickers in the phone (including internal ones in the headphone jack, etc.).

Edit: also, if you ever need cheap, temporary screen protection, go to Wal-Mart, and in the fabric section, they sell vinyl (for covering furniture, hard back books, etc.). For $1 you can get enough to make a hundred screen protectors. I buy the heavy weight vinyl (the one with the white backing), but they have a few different weights available. Then cut out the vinyl to the rough size of the screen. Sometimes it helps if you add a drop of water or two to get it to apply.

I'm in the same boat, decided to go with the VZW screen protectors until I get the call from the ghost armor rep at my local best buy!

So, im convinced to trash my ZAGG before it even gets here, Ghost Armor is giving away the full body protection for the price of the screen protector, Phantom Skins are getting great reviews, is it worth it to hold out for the SGP?

Also wondering, i think im going to wait for the SGP Anti Fingerprint, if i put my ZAGG on, just to get me by till its released, will it come off easy without leaving a bunch of stuff on the screen?

no residue will be left behind. ive done it plenty of times with the IS.

(If ever you want to see every spec of dust, take a flash photograph of something black.)

As stated earlier, the screen protector doesn't cover the home/back/etc. buttons. It went on surprisingly easy and took about 30 seconds. Screen feels surprisingly identical with the protector, I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference on a side-by-side. I originally was planning on using this temporarily, but I'll probably not bother with a third party one unless the stock ones prove to be ineffective.

Black silicone cover adds a bit of grip and a bit of weight, but now my phone is pocket-proof.

Installed my Zagg today, and I'll do it on my girlfriend's tomorrow. I've used Zagg in the past, so installation was easy. The most difficult part is simply getting it aligned. I hate things out of line/level, so it took me a few placements, but all is well know. The few small bubbles will dissipate over the next 24-48 hours.

No impact on pinch-to-zoom, swyping, or screen clarity. Plus you can't argue against a lifetime warranty.

So.. the choices are

Steinheil
Zagg InvisibleSHIELD
Verizon's screen protectors
GhostArmor

Do you guys think that the full body protection offered by Ghost Armor here (HTC Incredible Ghost Armor - HTC - HTC Incredible - Ghost Armor | cases, screen-protectors, shields, skins, covers, armor) is sufficient to protect the entire phone or should I also get a silicone case for it (will that actually protect the phone if I accidentally drop it)?

Also, are Ghost Armors sold in Best Buy or other b&m stores? Thanks!

Just installed my Zagg, well see how it goes, i'm still thinking the Steinheil anti glare sounds appealing.
