Are you S-off or S-on?

When you say you can't get to the bootloader, does the phone absolutely not respond at all?

Try this really quick:

Plug the phone in, and see if the charge light comes on.

If it does, press and hold the power button until that charge light goes off.

As soon as the light turns off, press and hold the volume down button.

This "should" bring you to the bootloader. If it does, select "Fastboot" and try to flash the recovery using the fastboot utility you used to unlock the bootloader.

Follow this guide to do this:
1.go to openrecovery-twrp-2.4.1.0-jewel.img to download the file.
2.move the file into the android folder you created earlier when you unlocked your bootloader.
3.on your phone you should be in the bootloader menu screen, select the fastboot option. if you are not in the bootloader menu then power off the phone and then press and hold power+vol down.
4.on your computer press and hold shift while right clicking the android folder.
5.select open command window here option (windows 7)
6.enter command:

[HIGH]fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.4.1.0-jewel.img[/HIGH]

This will give you a working recovery. From there you can re-flash the stock rooted rom, or what ever rom you choose. :)

Try this and let us know if it works. :)

well for one thing are you sure it was the PJ75IMG file? or was it the recovery.img file?

either way recovery should have recognized it and an error should have occurred.

so what happens when you are fully powered off? what about powering it on? does it bootloop? or just nothing?

well i downloaded the zip off goo manager....and i tried to flash it from goo...that brought me to twrp...then figured that was a reason to flash from there...then...said it was flashing as supposed...thought it was rebooting....but nope....now..nothing. no 3 lights...no booting up...no light when plug in the charger....nothing.

pretty much half charged...at least....yea...stupid to trust app...but i saw a bunch of places that people used it...so i took a really stupid chance...and i figured if the flash didnt work would always be able to get into the recovery or at least boot manager and fastboot files....this sucks....

ok first off so that there is no more confusing going forward. flashing is only referring to kernels, roms and themes. there might be some tweaks and other .zip files that can be flashed.

but recovery is not flashed. it usually is fastboot commanded in or it might be in the form of a PJ75IMG file and installed via the bootloader.

now like i said try and leave it charged on for a few hours and then see if you can boot into the bootloader and go from there.

soo.....no progress yet...but i did notice that when i plug in to my lapptop..windows 7, i get the sound...err....that i plugged it in from windows...but the phone is not on.....

charged for over hour from wall charger...nothing....no lights...only sound when i plug it in to my pc....even though its not on....strange...

Hey Ocn, wondering if we can try an RUU.exe to see if we can get the phone back up?

@ Heffler, can you remember what hboot # and baseband (radio) version you are currently on?

I PM'd Scotty, hopefully he'll drop in soon to take a look see. :)

Hey, really quick. With your phone plugged into your computer, right click on Computer and select "Manage" then select device manager.

See if your phone shows up as "EVO" or "Android device". under "Portable Devices" / EVO or as a drive letter, i.e.: H:\

If not, post up what it lists the phone as.

wtf??? what does that mean? like my processor? i have never evan heard of that....please explain what that is....

When you got S-off, there was a section to the guide that team I/O posted up for an unbricker tool. This was for the unlikely event you got stuck in this mode.

The S-off exploit uses a vulnerability in the in the radios or the processor. Qualcomm download mode is for loading stuffs to the processor, which I have no idea how to do. I'm still not 100% sure since they want to keep the exploit hidden so it can't be plugged.

The rub now is did you wipe your SD card since doing the S-off exploit?
