Accessories Seidio redesigned the Active Limited Case

got my burgundy active LE from amazon today. liking it a lot so far. feels good, looks good, doesn't add as much bulk as i thought it might, which is good. and all for $25 shipped!!

I haven't received mine yet but here are a couple of pics from the Seidio website that might give you some idea. It looks to me like the front lip will keep the screen from touching a surface if you lay it face down.

Anyone know where I can get the first version of the active case? I like the grips on the side and the older design better than version two.
 
Anyone ever had a white seidio case before? If so how does it look after a week or two? How dirty does it get and can it be cleaned to look new? That white one is looking mighty sexy but it won't look so hot if the white turns brown.
 
Just got the new Active case today and I am well pleased. I was a little worried at first about the looseness of the silicone sleeve but once I put the hard skeleton on everything tightened up. Well except for the very bottom where there is no exoskeleton...that's a little loose.

It's very pocketable and adds minimal bulk to the phone in my hand. I like the fact that it's pretty plain with the Seidio logo the same color as the case.

It even covers up the areas at the top corners where I screwed up my SGP screen protector install! :D

I give this case an A+ and it receives the KGB Seal Of Excellence™
 
Black. I may get the burgundy or blue if the mood strikes.

Watch it closely, I received mine on Saturday and 2 of the corners are already starting to peel. The picture isn't that good, but you'll get the idea. It isn't where the case comes in-contact with anything other than maybe your pocket going in and out. So 4 days and their "rubberized" coatng is already wearing off......my ebay snap on case lasted 7 days before it started to peel.

Yeah that is definitely not normal. I have had mine for a week or 2 and is perfect. Seidioseidio, do you know if they will be selling the different covered backs separately at a cheaper price? I would love that as I could buy different colors and change em depending what mood im in :)

Good question. It would be cool to have the different colors, maybe sold as a set?

Also, I have had mine over a week and I haven't seen any peeling. I have been putting it in my pocket in my jeans and in my backpack every day.

Picked up the Amazon version of the Active case in burgundy and paired it with a cheap ebay holster until the active spring clip is out. Really love the active case, looks awesome and gotten a lot of positive feedback from others (and jealous looks from a few iphoney's at work).
 
Yep, I will be getting the case/holster combo. I love Seidio's products! My wife wants the burgandy one as well. I wish they made the case compatible with the side holster though.
 
I too was waiting for the Otterbox Commuter or the Case Mate Tough Case, but no more waiting! Both manufacturers blew it! I ordered the Innocase Active and in addition, the Innocase Holster for my EVO on Monday via FedEx overnight. I previously used an Otterbox Commuter Case for my previous iPhone and BB9700. The Otterbox Commuter Case was BY FAR the best case for my iPhone and Blackberry. EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY and PERFECT STREAMLINED FIT. I saw the same results with the Tough Case by Case Mate on a friends Nexus One. I've got my fingers crossed and anticipate exceptional fit, function and quality from Seidio with the Innocase Active and Holster for EVO. I will fill you in on Tuesday, July 13. Stay tuned.
 
Received Innocase Active case today for EVO. Excellent quality, feels great in the hand, looks nice, perfect fit. No complaints whatsoever. Power button is SLIGHTLY harder to depress although I am sure this will improve as I get used to having the power button covered. Volume rocker not affected at all by soft skin coverage. I give the case a 9.5 out of 10 rating. The accompanying holster is also a perfect fit. Great job Seidio. I am no longer interested in forthcoming offerings by Otterbox or Case Mate. My advice? If you are an EVO owner, BUY THIS CASE! It is well worth the price.
