This is something that requires a computer and some knowledge of how to use electronics. I really don't recommend you do anything until you are comfortable with it. You need to go to the Everything Root Sub-section of this and read up. That way you can get a good idea of what kind of modification this is, And how to go about having it. I have an Huawei Ascend and I have Used Both The Froyo 2.2 and the Icarus 1.1 I and back to Stock but Was wanting to know from all of you what one is the Best?

I had heard it had a lot of bugs as Jazz said. I do love Icarus 1.1. I believe it's a very stable rom, It's also got great flexibility in speed and customization. I also simply like the fact that it's got a darker look to it. What did you think was best? Why did you decide to go back to stock?
 
I liked the 2.2 Froyo but had to Reboot my phone one day and it came back on say no UIM.The Icarus 1.1 is great smooth and fast just could not get the Wifi to Work. I have both on my computer just incase i want to go back to one just wanted to know what the experts on here Fav's were Thank you

Your wifi would not work? That is very odd. Is it possibly because of a wifi tethering app? What made it not work? Did it show the option to check mark it, Or was the box grey? Mine has not once had any issues. Do you use any battery saving apps?
 
Hi, Im a new Huawei Ascend owner and I must say the phone is AWESOME ! My question is, is I like the wallpaper used in the very first picture on the 1st page, is there any download for it? :D Im gonna try to look up this weekend on how to fully customize my phone when I have some time to. I wanna make it literally my own.
 
Huge Starcraft fan. Launcherpro with Clock Widget and Circle Battery Widget. You should hear the ringtones. Wallpapers and tones from Zedge.

What do you mean by it is panoramic? does that mean you get a different view with each screen?

Or is it a new feature that LP has I'm not familiar with?

actually it just means the background images are "panoramic" photos set to fit across 5 home screens with the center screen (3) being the center of the photo. so when you swipe to either side you reveal more of the photo. much thanks!

Why does the blue look so odd on the screen? It's got more contrast and outline than the green. That's kinda weird. I haven't used any themes in blue as I was told it would look odd. I wonder why it's not as smooth looking. I really like your settings on a homepage though. What are you using?
