Share your Huawei Ascend Desktop!

But, I kind of have my heart set on having 2.2.1. I am just anticipating when they will fix the MMS for that...I'm also still holding out for the update to come from Huawei or Metro. If they don't then I will go from there. I'm giving this a month or so before I decide. Should be plenty of time for MMS to be straightened out for 2.2.1.

OH MY GOD BASED GOD!
Im digging this live wallpaper I downloaded! Bye bye, clock/calendar widget!
Its clean and pretty minimalistic! I think the paid version lets you change the background and text size and it has a battery meter! Im pretty cheap so I didnt get it xD

I've never seen a white Ascend before. Very pretty! What launcher are you using?

Icarus Mod, Go Launcher EX, and Fancy Widget Time and Weather. I like simple black.

I also like the three docks in Go Launcher. All my most used shortcuts are right there without cluttering my home screen.

I use and like the Photo Contact widget, but I'm not sure if the contacts I have in it would appreciate their names and photo's posted on a forum. The other home screens are just jumbled up shortcuts. One page for games, one for system tools, - that sort of thing.

(As you can see, I get crap reception in my house. If I go on the porch or my balcony, it gets better. I'm right dead in the middle of the 5th largest city in the US, you'd think I'd have all the bars all the time.)

WOW! That looks awesome RJ! I didn't notice you are in Phoenix. I'm in Scottsdale! LOL

I've never had over 2 bars ever! But it still works just great. I was up in Payson over the weekend and I got great reception all the way up there. Even through the mountains. That never happened even when I was with Verizon. I think it was cause I bought some nationwide roaming minutes before I left and they wanted to make sure I could use them! hahaha

I like the 3 docks on GO Launcher too, even though I only use one. :P Love GO Launcher! Love Fancy Widget Pro! And gettin ready to love ICARUS 1.1 !!! Thanks so much for sharing with us! :)

Great choice of wallpaper too! I normally don't care all that much for the android ones but yours is one of the best I've seen.

Are you using ADW? And whose Icons, clock etc?

Great color scheme with the black and red....and the Fancy Weather widget raining just really sets it off! LOL

PS...did you put that red in the Android Wallpaper yourself....in the 'O' letter?

Yes I'm using ADW Launcher with y0rk's Red ADW theme icons.

Clock comes from Fancy Widget Pro. with the 3D Grey Clock skin and the H7C Weather skin.

The wallpaper comes with the red light already in the O

I'm like you, constantly changing it up almost everyday (see, I've been reading), LOL

I love the green layout of Icarus. Only one I'd like more would be maybe blue to match the outside of the phone. (I'm a darn perfectionist Virgo!) No but, Really I'm very very happy with this rom!!
