I recently purchased my first Android phone, the HTC ThunderBolt. I love it so far, and I have had nothing but great experiences with the device.
I have a few questions about rooting:
What is rooting, and what are the advantages/disadvantages to rooting?
I use my phone fairly addictively -apps, web browsing, calling, texting, email, calendar- should I root?
What is a ROM?
Why have you rooted your phone?

but for now,.....you do not need to root your phone, just because all other do.....right?
Have fun, and good luck.
