That had me baffled too when I saw other people using it.

Once you've inserted the object, say Hour of the day (12hrs), highlight it and click Format and then choose Word Upper/Lower Case from the drop down menu.

how do you get that power control widget facing that way down the side of the screen? is that a part of a ROM or something?

ROM: Latest MIUI
Widgets: Clock is the original Fancy Widget before it was taken off the market. Calendar is CalWidget. Text Banners are Minimalistic Text. Notepads/Folders are built into the ROM unfortunately.

In Power Control settings there is an check box option Veryical Layout. Also, that screen is 5x5 in size which is why everything fits neatly, 4x4 would be too cramped.

Which bit?

Wallpaper is called "Desire Space" and you can find it on Zedge (download it from the Android Market)
Weather is "Go Weather"
Agenda is "Pure Calendar Widget" (paid for app)
Icons along the bottom are from the "classic" theme for Go Launcher EX.

Could you post that wallpaper please mate? also the one you was using before, the one thats like mossy/grassy please. Also the dock icon, that looks like connecting sticks? like a laddder or something, thanks!
