*thinks* I had that issue and I just play around with the folders in app organizer. I don't really remember what I did...but I don't have the labels on the app organizer's folder. Maybe someone that remembers can share, lol. Sorry mate :(

Have you tried relaunching LP and see if that works.

ya, i try before.. others who know how to fix my problem, help me pls.. thanks

Does anyone know of a site where you can get larger icons than the ones on this thread, as they seem to come out quite small?

It's worth checking the icons in a program like Photoshop to see if there is a transparent border around them. I know the icons from the "Royalty Free...." links people put on here have the border. This gives the impression the icons are smaller. All you need to do is crop them closer to the actual graphic and "Bobs your uncle" :)

I've loaded launcher Pro and ADW launcher a couple of times now, and is it just me and am I missing the point of having these over the Sense UI launcher.

Both times the just seem sluggish and a PITA to change the option for Dock action buttons, or add apps to the home screen etc when coming from the very slick Sense it does seem like a backward step even if you do love full customisation.

I keep wanting to give it a go as I love messing around and now don't really use any Sense widgets on the home screens.

Mind you I guess I'll have to learn to love one of these launchers as i imagine it will be on a Froyo build long before HTC or O2 get their finger out.

Did you delete all your widgets and icons on your Sense home as I've heard this can slow down other launchers as it tries to load both homes, not sure how true it is though.

Have you updated to the newest versions of the Launchers?

I have LauncherPro and love it, no lag on it at all.

No, so that's something to look into.

They were taken straight off the market so I can only assume they ate the latest releases.

Both food for thought, I'll have another play.

Here's mine =) Kinda liked the old style HTC stock black/green themes so decided to try to mimic them a little.

What Icon package are you using? Please share :)

The green ones from here: Larger DarkEdge Icons here - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum

There are also other colors and plain ones available - the creator has done an awesome job and is still updating the thread with new ones so some arent included in the packs on his first post but are further on in the thread.

(read the rules & think its ok to post this direct link here but admins please remove it if Im wrong, thanks)

My current set up from left to right:

Using LauncherPro instead of sense, much prefer its custom keys at the bottom and the effects between menu's/programs etc and the ability to turn off the icon labels.

Calender is Pure grid
Clock is Beautiful widgets
Bottom news feed it google genie, top is engadget widget
Extended controls for mobile network/gps toggle
Folder organiser to create the folders

How easy is it to change the icons? Do I have to "root" my phone to be able to do it?

Cheers
Kevin

You don't need to root your phone and if you look back through this thread you'll find all the methods and possible issues for changing them :)
