Show us your Desire Homescreens...

Oh a qucik question for anyone who can help, you know on the dock on launcher pro you can add and remove apps like the menu, meassaging etc.

When you add one you have the option of standard icons, launcherpro icons or custom?

Does anyone else have a problems with force closing when you add a custom icon? Really grinding my gears now!!

I had the same problem. I ended up using Folderorganizer to create the shortcut to the app with a custom icon, and then added it to the launcher.

Yeah it is an issue and I as well as a few others have raised the issue with the Dev via his forum.

AS already mentioned, use FolderOrganizer and then add the App with the "Default Icon". Does mean the only App on the Dock you CANNOT change is the App Drawer one. Can't wait till the fix comes because I have a cool icon waiting!!! :D

Where did you take those icond from?
Thanx!

How did you change the icons on different home screens? when I change one it changes on them all

Anyone help?

Which icons do you mean? The ones on the dock?

I just use FolderOrganizer to change icons for Apps and Folders/Groups.

Everytime I try to set these or any icons I get error 'The Application LauncherPro (Process android.process.acore) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.

I select icons from custom Icons, then select the icon in my saved folder - do i need to save them somewhere else for this to work??? It lets me use Default or LauncherPro icons ok

Any help would be appreciated

Got the same problem :(

yeah the ones on the dock, I noticed the guy i quoted had different icons/apps on each screen and that would be superb to do if possible

Look at my previous reply further up the page, basically launcher pro has a bug where you can't set icons. You'll need to use something like Folderorganiser to create a shortcut to the app and then use the shortcut on the launcher bar

*thinks* I had that issue and I just play around with the folders in app organizer. I don't really remember what I did...but I don't have the labels on the app organizer's folder. Maybe someone that remembers can share, lol. Sorry mate :(

Have you tried relaunching LP and see if that works.

I will try to help those people with the LauncherPro dock icons issue :)

If you try to just add a shortcut to the dock and set a custom icon at that point, then as you are aware you get an FC. This has been raised with the Dev so hopefully should be resolved soon. However, in the mean time you will need to use FolderOrganizer to do it.

To change the icon of an App:
1 Run FolderOrganizer
2 Locate App within the default labels showing up. Usually under Apps or Other Apps.
3 Press and hold for a sec on the App. A small horizontal window appears.
4 Scroll over to Icon and press.
5 Select where you want to get icon from. Android Gallery if icons are on SD Card or Icon Packs if you downloaded packs such as the iBox ones.
6 Find icon and select. This will now have set the icon for that App.
7 Now, exit FolderOrganizer.
8 Long press on Dock where you wish to add the App.
9 When selection window appears go to FolderOrganizer Item
10 When Next window appears select Apps
11 Scroll through to the App you want and select.
12 Think, "Thanks dajomel" cos that's Job Done :)

Now, if like me you group Apps together under a single Label in FolderOrganizer such as Games, Tools, Multimedia etc then Steps 9-11 change to:

9 When selection window appears go to FolderOrganizer LABEL
10 When Next window appears select the Label for your group of items.
11 Think, "Thanks dajomel" cos that's Job Done :)

Hope this helps you all out :)
