In your 1st picture, the lockscreen. is there anywhere that I can get that without having to flash to another rom. On stock rom just now & really like that lock screen.

What Froyo rom are you using Lekky? Any problems with it or everything working properly? Links please!! :D

Try Lockbot, think that can do it for you.

Hi Guys, be gentle new convert from iphone.
I have the two clock widget on my home screen, but how do I change one to a foreign time? I searched but no luck.

Can i just ask - being thick - how do you get the 5 buttons on the bottom?? - I only have the 3 - I am using adw.launcher but cant figure it out. Do i have to use bettercut????
Sorry for the thick question - i did try a few searches first! :o

I'm using launcherpro from the market, try that one instead. You can just long press your finger on any of those spaces and it asks you what you want to put there :p

in the latest version of ADW from the market: click on menu, go to ADW settings, UI settings, then enable 'secondary action buttons'.

it will give you two extra spaces.

:)
 
I gave up trying to take screenshots of my homescreens.. and dont fancy rooting

Can anyone reccommend a decent 3g on/off widget and profile widget (that are free), as im using launcherpro...

Desk Clock -> World Clock -> Menu -> Home Settings -> Type in Location.

The clock on the left will now show the time set for that location and the clock on the right will show your "Current Location".
 
Spent a couple of hours yesterday, playing and changing again.

I've gone from Smooth calendar, to Jonte to finally Agenda Widget. I'm now finally happy with how that works/looks.

I'm not happy with Audio Manager, would like it to lock the volumes (not sure if there's an app to do that, as forever changing ringtone volume in pocket) and also be transparent.

Changed my lockscreen picture, new wallpapers and created Quick Dial & Message folders. I've also organsied folders for the apps.

I'll maybe create a folder for internet bookmarks and remove the sense widget, possibly have direct map location folder. Who knows... :rolleyes:

I'm just about to fanny around (for another couple of hours no doubt) on trying to remove the names, change a few icons, then.......then i think i'll be happy (for another few weeks/months) :D

I'm just curious about why most on here seem to prefer black and white screens :confused: To me it's like buying a colour tv then watching it in black and white :p The desire is so vibrant when displaying colours ;)

Probably to save battery but i agree the colours are so clear you should use brighter colour schemes

For me its that I like my phone to look fairly businesslike and smart. I also use sense & the HTC skinned apps are black, white & grey with hints of green so I like a homescreen that matches. I have a bright and vibrant scene set up for the weekends or just for something different with the aquarium live wallpaper which is very cool :) I also like black & white usually as I find it easier to make out whats what in direct sunlight because of the difference in contrast. One of my favourite things about the desire in general is just how much you can customise it without much effort. We need a resident shrink to tell us what our homescreens mean about our personalities :D
