have you rooted the phone? cause I like that you got a percentage in your battery at the top right... How did you do that?

Hey,

I've got my homescreen set up all nice using retro clock and calandar. Basically though this has caused a minor little query. I quite liked having the weather animation when i unlocked my phone with stock HTC clock weather thing on home screen. Is there any way i can have it still without putting that back on homescreen?

Really hoping he's gonna change the battery text to white as it would look much nicer, but the other animated status icons are all pretty sweet.

Get her on Facebook and I'll introduce her to my other half who thinks exactly the same as yours and then we can sneak off to change wallpapers yet again and move some widgets from one screen to another and download more useless but good looking apps. Sorted!

Lock Screen:

Hey... can anyone tell me what the above lock screen is? is it an app? I want the 2 icons coming out of the side of the screen instead of the bar that has to be dragged down on stock android. Or is this a froyo lockscreen? its driving me crazy I've looked on the market place at lockbot and a few others but cant find any that set my screen exactly how it is above lol

the lock screen with two icons is achieved with lockbot pro (from market)

the clock is tajm (from market) and, i believe, it can be applied to the lock screen using the widget locker app (from market).

If you want the twin slides, LockBot Pro will do it
But if you want to put widgets on the lockscreen, you need Widget Locker instead
It still has the twin sliders

Still no need to have both LockBot & Widget Locker
Widget Locker on its own will suffice

Few very minor adjustments but nothing major, just a change as my mood changes.

Have given widgetlocker a try though and its pretty nice. Not more vibrating unlock on Froyo now!

Should probably tweak my pure calendar and extended controls transparency so they match each other, but maybe later.

I want my layout to be almost like this one in terms of the buttons and stuff. on your mainscreen what is the clock and weather thing and how do you get the buttons to look like that at the bottom.

Sorry I just got my desire yesterday and am still very new at this

You can also do it with Lockbot Lite (Free).

The clock widget is the small home widget from Beautiful widgets, and in the picture you quoted I believe its the default clock skin and the weather skin is DarkLudi.

I am using LauncherPro as my home launcher and that is what gives me the buttons along the bottom.

My current set-up is below

Lock Screen (using widget locker), notification bar is the [THEME] 27/07 B&W Theme 0.7 for OpenDesire,DeFroST,Cyanogenmod6 - xda-developers mod. I have rooted and am running DeFroST 2.5a ROM.

My middle screen. Beautiful widgets clock with NakedDroidAndI clock skin and Tick weather skin.

Left hand screen with some pictures of my cat taken and had effects applied using Vignette. Notice the icons along the bottom, I am using three icon trays with launcher pro that I can scroll through on any screen. I am using a custom dock skin with LauncherPro which I got off the LauncherPro forums.

Right hand screen. Pure Calendar widget with my tasks being pulled from Astrid as well as calendar entries, its scrollable on LauncherPro. The skin is Eclair with about 70% transparency. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Flashlight and Brightness toggle is Extended controls. Twicca widget as well for twitter, and then my third icon tray.

menu > settings > homescreen settings > number of screens

yep thanks figured out the number of screens part.

But is there a way to have a different background pic for every screen?

Also with laucher pro it got rid of the old big digit clock and the weather on the main page...is this a certain drawback of launcher pro in that you cant use the old sense widgets?
